Unbelievable. How anyone could be of the opinion that Prince is ignoring Kansas kids is beyond me... Powertards were in an uproar over all the KS kids being offered last year!! Butler is just trying to grease the skids to come up with some excuses for pushing the Browns to USC or Miami. (very poor excuse) might I add. We have a buttload of KS kids on schollie.

What does Butler get for pushing kids to Miami or USC over KSU?

Payback for not getting offered by us.

Those schools are certainly not going to offer guys like Frank Delarue a scholarship. He needs us more than we need him.

They also won't be around next time when there's a 3 star kid who should be a 5 star but who happens to live in Wichita.

He gets to tell people/employers he elevated a kids stature to get him to a big name school, not just to the local school.

We used to be a "big name school" when it pertained to football recruiting. Leave the second fiddle crap for teams like ku.

Can you quantify what exactly that means (in numbers)?

I would think that if Butler's intentions were bad as in he wanted to get something out of these kids then it would be in his best interest to send them to Kansas schools in order to keep them close by. That way during their entire college careers he could be in their ears telling them how much he helped them out.. Just a thought..

Can't yet as this is his "first year" of really getting on the map. But if you're a kid in Wichita and you see Butler's kids going to USC, Florida, or OU...then you (and your parents) should be fairly attracted to that. Contrast that to if you see them go to KSU. No one heard of Butler, nor would they've, if the Brown brothers didn't exist.

it would make sense for them to stay near by, even if it be oklahoma. hell, they don't even have cell phones and they are seniors in high school, and they go to East High, so i doubt that their family has enough money to travel around watching their kids.

Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day
Home, home on the range
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day
How often at night when the heavens are bright
With the light from the glittering stars
Have I stood there amazed and asked as I gazed
If their glory exceeds that of ours
Home, home on the range
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day
Where the air is so pure, the zephyrs so free
The breezes so balmy and light
That I would not exchange my home on the range
For all of the cities so bright
Home, home on the range
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day
Oh, I love those wild flow'rs in this dear land of ours
The curlew, I love to hear scream
And I love the white rocks and the antelope flocks
That graze on the mountaintops green
Home, home on the range
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day
