Title: Brian Butler's call in to a radio station in Wichita

he randomly called in the show, and said something to the effect of if WSU still had a football program, they'd have a better chance of landing Bryce and Arthur Brown than K-State or ku. Since Wichita is their hometown.

Not really sure why he called in to say that......

Well, a few days ago their mission was to prove to the world that Wichita has players.  The world could not be reached for comment, but likely doesn't give a crap.

Is to early to call Butler our "JO Stright"?

Just because his brother failed under Snyder doesn't mean he has to take it out on Prince.

KSU needs to quit trying with the Browns and maybe even Harper and should focus their attention on players that we actually have a legitimate shot at landing.

Like the Skyline trio?  Or are they too good for us?  Would you of suggested to Prince to not even bother giving Freeman a call?  Or when LaMark Brown started looking around, to just give up and say, "Oh well, we were lucky to even be mentioned by him".

Hmmm...

Kansas State has a better chance at landing the Brown Bros. than USC, ND, OU, etc., because Kansas is their home state... at least that is what his logic dictates.

The skyline guys will probably be around 3*'s so we should be okay.  And we battled Lamark with NU, Ark, ku, Indiana, and MU and battled for Freeman with basically NU....if we were going up against those same schools for the Browns and Harper, I'd feel infinitely better.  I do think we should probably stay on Harper though, he's such a tweener (in terms of position) that maybe we telll him what he wants to hear and he commits.

Keanon Cooper will be a 4 star.  Spencer Reeves' update said he'd likely be a 4 too.  Dupree is probably a 3.  And we battled for LaMark with a ton more teams than that, they just were not mentioned in updates.  Freeman was different, he was about 90% committed to Nebraska, and ready to move there.

If they are going to be 4*'s then we should give up.  Maybe see if Freeze or Kirk know of any stud guys at their highschools or something.

All the guys at their highschools are awesome...comparatively.

Let's just let this thing play out, and swoop in at the end and match Butler's highest offer for each of them.  Ropin' Garth could sell a few Angus and we could get this thing locked up.  Also wouldn't hurt to offer Butler the DOFO and kick little Snyder out of there.

Not a chance on giving Sean Snyder the boot.

Butler is a trainer right, how about assistant football strength and conditioning coach.

Even better.  He sure could "learn a lot" working with Kent.
