Who will we get in 2008:
a) In early signing
b) Late pickups
c) How many scholarships? I see 3 early and 5 total if Beasley and Walker go.

I love the guy, but as his facebook page says, "I'm all about that cake." If he doesn't go pro that's bad for our 2007 season, IMO.

A short Jew? He'd better be a guard or something. Maybe he can split a zone like the Red Sea?

I just don't know if he's going to have a convincing enough year. I think he'll have a great year but I don't know if it will be enough to put him in the lottery with two torn ACLs in his history. I remember Walker saying he wouldn't go if he wasn't in the lottery...

Moses is solid. Once he comes down from the mountain we will get to see how impressive he is. The women will love his staff.

I remember Beasley saying he planned on being at KSU for 4 years.

Yeah, right. That is not very likely. It would be likely for Walker to want to make the lottery and to stick around another year to improve his stock if he won't make the lotto.

Hehehe. Good one.

I don't think Walker is even a first rounder at this point in time. He might want out anyway, though.
-
I disagree, Rusty. I think Walker is a first rounder just on potential alone. However, his play this year will likely start out kind of slowly because the confidence in the knee and the explosion will be reduced. Hopefully, he can stick his jumper consistently, which will draw defenders out and his explosion will start to return between the Big 12 season and the NCAA's. That is the big question on Walker. If he has an improved jumper and his explosion back, his draft status will go up alot. If the Cats make a good tourney run behind Walker and Beasley, it will also improve his status alot. I think he will need to be a lottery pick to go because he will feel very confident he can be a lottery pick the following year if his explosion and game doesn't convince scouts enough about his health this year. I predict Beasley is gone after one (really going out on a limb) but that Walker stays one more season to be a lottery pick (although this could change if Miami U dumps Haith and comes hard after Martin after this season.

Right now, Walker = PJ Tucker - proving anything in college
