Walker had surgery to repair the knee on Jan. 19. Now, only four-and-a-half months later, he says he is about 90 percent healthy and running stairs at Bramlage Coliseum daily to improve his strength and conditioning.

He's been 90% for two months now. :blank:

Maybe he'll always be at 90% now. I'll still take a 90% Walker over the types of players we're used to.
-
Kind of a confusing article says he's 90% but still 2 months away from competition. Says Rush will be back in 4 months but says 4 months and 3 weeks after his surgery he's still 2 months away. I get the feeling Walker always has a positive attitude about everything which is a good thing but at times he might be overly optimistic. I remember back during the season he was talking about getting back in time for the NCAA's should we have made it. Obviously that was crazy talk, I'm not worried about Walker being back next year but I'd venture to guess he's not really 90% right now.

“He has a lot of rehab ahead of him. He’ll start rehab right out of surgery,” said Walker, who proclaims his own knee “91 percent healed” from Jan. 19 surgery.

Yeah dude...He is def 91%, not 90%. Get your facts right son.

Walker ruptured his ACL. Rush just tore his. Big difference.

Ruptured is good for us.

Why, because he'll stay here longer?

No, replaced ACL's last longer than shaved down ones.
Rush is screwed, Walker is in business. It wouldn't do us much good to keep Walker for 4 years if he only plays in 8 games.

Yes, but ruptured ones take longer to rehab. But yeah, I see what you are saying. His ACL will be stronger than it was before, where as Rush's won't be as strong as it was before.
