I really hope we don't throw the ball much against them.

Edit: Unless the person doing the throwing is named Jordy or Leon.

I'd like for us to be better at screening.  That was one thing that Prince's offenses were supposed to be good at and aside from a few times, they were fairly terrible, IIRC.  If the QB run game is going to be non existent and our run game subpar, one way to keep people from killing Josh is to mix in a screen.

I don't think it's a good assessment to say our running game was subpar last season.  We know that part of our running game, the O-Line, sucked ass.  But if you look back, in 8/11 games last season we averaged +3 yards per attempt, in 6/11 we were +4 ypa, and in 4/11 we were +5 ypa.

Did Prince give up on the run too early?  In the 02-03 year, Snyder ran the ball 625 times, compared to 370 attempts by Prince last year.

Well, either Prince is an idiot or our run blocking sucks (which would mean our run game was terrible, not that Patton or Johnson are terrible).  You choose.

Also, we were behind in an awful lot of games last year.  Many times coaches sort of abandon the run in an attempt to close a lead.  Not always the most intelligent choice, but one I have seen time after time over the years, at all levels of football.

Freeman's interceptions will be much clearer in HD.

We'll be able to read the lips of the Auburn D-linemen as they stand over our OL and talk smack all night.

The only thing good about this national game is that it occurs later in the day, and thus gives me a chance to get drunk enough not to remember any of it.

Good outlook.

I'm guessing it has a little bit more to do with the name "Auburn" right next to ours.. Just my $.02.
