Title: Lindy's preseason college football magazine

Have not seen but hear Freeman is in top 25 QBs and Keller is not.  Discuss.

(for the record I think Lindy's and Athlon are crap, Phile Steele is the only pre-season rag to buy)

Like I said I haven't seen it but I'm guessing in the 10-15 range.

I don't think either one deserves to be in there. Keller did when he was at Arizona State, but it remains to be seen how he will do in our offense. Freeman has a lot of potential, but based on his overall performances I don't think he is top 25 either.

We'll have to wait and see how the year goes for both of them.

The only reason Keller was left out is Lindy thought Keller had been transmogrified directly into the NFL Hall of Fame. At the time of this typing, that is incorrect and he will be leading the nubblettes to a mythical national championship this coming season.

Based on performance, there's no way Freeman should be in the top-25.  He's got a great upside, don't get me wrong, but he has been WAY too "up & down" / inconsistent to merit a ranking like that.

Freeman shouldn't be top 50 based on last seasons numbers.

no discussion needed.  Freeman isn't a very good qb and they have no big 12 stats for keller to judge him on.  last year freemans qb rating was good enough for 18th in the big 12.  meaning that not only was he the worst starting qb in the big 12 but there was a handful of #2 qb's better than him as well

Don't know about lindy's top 25 but to say Freeman's not very good is kind of queer. (feel me?) Name the other true freshman who EARNED Big 12 POW two weeks in a row.  Think AP, from Oklahoma.  And who was last Nub QB from and class to beat the Longhorns?  Oh, did you hear about the OSU game? A true freshman put the team on his back the last 4 and a half minutes and lead us to a win against a team you couldn't beat.  He had his struggles.  But your case on his demise is greatly exagerrated.  I, for one, will thoroughly enjoy this years win in Lincoln when he torches the blackskirts for 300+. :ksu:

Which is perfectly understandable, since that is exactly what Freeman was at the beginning of the year.

With Freeman under center KSU had a better conference w/l record than all but 4 schools.  Pretty good for a true freshman. And just think, the supporting cast will be better this year! :ksu:

You think Freeman will pull a "Chad May" in Lincoln?  That'd be a nice surprise.  That being said, NO WAY does Freeman throw for 489 yards in Lincoln--that was a once in a lifetime kind of thing.  And I'm proud to say I WAS F'N THERE!

Freeman will be lucky to leave Lincoln with all his body parts intact. The guy looked like goats nuts during your spring game. Freeman=going in reverse.
