I saw him referenced in JMART's latest.
-
6'4" RB/LB from Andover Central High School. Big kid who also qualified for the State Wresting tournament.
-
Thanks. Is he an 2009 recruit? I didn't find him in any of the recruiting databases.
-
Yep, he's a 2009 recruit.....
-
Heard he LOVES Nebraska. Runs well, not exceptionally quick, but he's a talent.
-
Gee.. I feel bad for the kid then.

well, that makes sense that he would go there...thanks. - he will be happy. Let's see if he is as happy with Cally as he is NU themselves.

Oh, I get it. The chirp-chirp emoticon and his name is Bird. Get it? It's a bird.
Good one Monty.

Even if he left OU he could't transfer within the same conference anyway.

He could go to juco for a year and redshirt then come to K-State with 3 years of eligibility.

Not true.
-
There must be some way for them to transfer within conference. If I'm not mistaken we had a player that transferred to the NUBBs and then played against us this year.
-
the rules are in place to prevent schools like Texas from using the other teams in the league as their farm system. Transfer to a JC, then to the school and you are fine. Gabe Toomey did this a few years ago. Rare, but it happens.

Fwiw, he became a walk-on at nubb.
