"We're talking about Seton Hall, Indiana, Marquette, South Florida, Duquesne and others such as FAU, Wichita State and Central Florida. But we felt FIU was the right spot. 

How's that make you feel WSU fans? Less of a program then Duquesne?  I don't even know how to pronounce the name of the damn school.  Suck it Shockers.

Could have just been Alvarez trying to get KSU interested.

I'm not sure I like how Alvarez uses "we" all the time.*

*Unless of course "we" meant a Top 50 player from FL to K-State, then I'm probably a hypocrite like everyone else.
