Is it possible to have a following lineup of
G: Clent Stewart
F: Dominique Sutton
F: David Hoskins
F: Michael Beasley
F: Bill Walker
where our offense consists of:
run, run, run, occasionally motion when we don't get there first
and our defense consists of:
zone, zone, zone, and zone
Wouldn't we win 20 games by default?
-
We need Luis to start. That way our defense can be "Punch em in the back of the head!"

Motion offense - we would have to leave out Stew...don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with him but, he is too slow with bringing the ball up the court. It will be J. Pullen at Point when we want to run

Running from a zone is not as easy as running from a MTM defense. I suspect we'll want to run man and use our athleticism to force other teams into action. Then use our athleticism to get steals, hit the boards and get out on the break.

With that line-up and running MTM, switching on defense will flow.

The only reason I worry about mtm with that lineup would be because there's only one guard. The others would get beat off the dribble by a small quick guy.
Actually, stew probably would too.
