Easy solution.
"It wasn't us! It was a bunch of ku fans pretending to be K-staters so they could get us in trouble!"
We're not going to get in any trouble for video making or facebooking(as long as facebooking doesn't include 'OMFG COME TO OUR SCHOOL!' on their public wall) and especially in Stunners case, as he's a ku student.
If anything, he's especially allowed to contact the recruits. In fact, I encourage him to do so more now. 'OMFG NCAA ku IS CHEATING AGAIN SEE WHAT A ku STUDENT DID!?'

That's got to violate some sort of man law, somewhere.

Rock Chalk!
However, NCAA Bylaw 13.02.13 states that one criteria defining someone as a booster is anyone “who is known (or who should have been known) by a member of the institution’s executive or athletics administration to be assisting in the recruitment of prospects.”
Weiser doesn't know me.

I know Bob Frederick and am a ku alum...when they're a threat again I'll roll up my sleeves and get to work.

Nub fans are probably swimming in violations right now.
-
So is it a violation to show up to games? Full stadiums look good for recruits.
-
This is a non-issue. uk is only sending that out to make it look like they are doing everything they can to stop fans from contacting athletes. In reality, there is nothing that can be proven on an anonymous screen name at some website that they are boosters. It won't and cannot happen, especially since it is not breaking any real laws so it will never be enforced to much extent. This will continue to happen with recruits who use the internet for a long time. The only solution would be to ask athletes to not use these websites and that isn't going to happen either. So happy facebooking everyone! :peek:

Tell that to MJRod.
"Don't burn a giant powercat in the ku student unions lawn, because you talked about it on here. I'll turn your IP in if you do. But really, I'm classless, I promise!"
Mr. "I'm responsible for Riotville" is losing his edge. He needs to go on a classless vacation that includes fornicating with nuns, eating babies, and leaving the seat up in places where women use the bathroom.

Well, if anyone should know an NCAA violation when they see one, its Kentucky. They've already been caught violating almost all of them. I hate it when that happens too, the NCAA will likely have to really come down hard on some other smaller school just to teach Kentucky another lesson.

can't figure out which is more entertaining.
that uk venerates and has named their facility after the biggest racist asshole to ever coach basketbal....
....or that said racist asshole is a jayhawk.
-
the latter.
