Would you mind quoting that part of the article? For whatever reasoin, my client site isn't letting me access the Wichita Eagle or the KC Star. At least they let me get on GPC and KSUFans.

"Looking ahead to 2008 -- Keep an eye on Marcus Denmon and Ray Shipman. Plus, according to Scout.com basketball recruiting coordinator Dave Telep, Willie Warren, Kenny Kadji and Wes Witherspoon bear following.
Denmon, who plays for Hogan Prep in Kansas City, Mo., helped K.C. Pump-n-Run capture the Jayhawk Invitational AAU tournament last weekend. His coach, former Wichita State player L.J. Goolsby, says the 6-foot-2 Denmon is attracting more and more attention every day.
"He's more of a scorer, a guy who can fill it up in multiple ways," Goolsby said. "He just plays hard. He gets after folks. He's always in attack mode."
Missouri has already offered, and Oklahoma is coming on strong. The top-tiered Missouri Valley schools -- Missouri State, Creighton and Wichita State -- are also in pursuit.
As for Shipman, a 6-foot-4 guard from Monsignor Pace in Opa Locka, Fla., his father competed against the new K-State coach while they were teenagers playing basketball in Miami. There is a comfort level between Martin and both Shipmans, and the younger lists K-State in his top three schools.
He says he has been offered by Miami, Georgia Tech, Clemson and Florida, the two-time defending champs.
But Shipman, who models his style after Golden State's Jason Richardson and Miami's Dwyane Wade, has a bond with Martin, who began recruiting Shipman a year ago.
Shipman said Martin mentioned the possibility of landing another Florida prospect, IMG Academy forward Kadji, a 6-foot-10 forward with potential. With Warren, no one knows for sure whether his interest is sincere, but the 6-foot-7 Witherspoon -- according to Telep -- is under the impression he is one of K-State's top targets, and he's apparently flattered.
The new staff is doing exactly what it should be doing, Telep said.
"Their job is to build upon what was built last year," he said. "Is there any buzz right now? It's a transition period. I've seen the staff out there working. We have to keep in mind, this isn't ku. This is K-State. You have to create your own momentum.
"Basketball at K-State is in flux."

Love the quote about Warren. He must tell everyone he is interested in them.
Though it would be freakin hilarious if we somehow managed to get him after the ku trolls have been so sure he is a lock to be a hawk.
Maybe Willie has a self-esteem issue, he just wants attention and love from where ever he can get it.

Stunner please comment on the bold part-
The online invitation has a tab listing who has confirmed they will be attending. Already, it's a virtual who's who -- Urban Meyer, coach of the national champion Florida Gators, will be there, along with running backs coach Stan Drayton. Oklahoma defensive coordinator Brent Venables is a lock.
Franklin will be there, of course, and Ron Prince might show as well, according to Butler.
Might? Wtf could be more important Ron, got a class to teach or something?

He's playing hard to get???

He'd make a good AP writer.
-
Shipman, Kadji, and Witherspoon would be SOLID.
I would never stop talking crap if we somehow got Warren.

This quote was kind of interesting.
“He has big-time range, is a good free-throw shooter and can post up,” Stewart said. “Gillispie wouldn’t have taken him if he was a bum steer.”
