Is a very good HM/athlete that can shoot the 3 ball from WAY out!
Just an average defender, but is long and athletic enough to be better.
Is a Small Forward that can play some Second Guard. Maybe, limited time
at Power Forward, but not much of a rebounder for 6-7.
Can be a bit of a goofball at times, free spirited, etc.
FOR KSU...he give them a big wing that will stretch the Defense...and
keep the double teams off of the "bigs"

Actually, BP is usually pretty accurate about rating talent from what I have seen over the years.

Is more connected than the recruiting services, must keep most of his info quiet.

Another point; BP touted Hannah much more than Young last year even though rivals had Young rated higher (#8 compared to #25). He doesn't tout a player signed by K-State just to say something nice. You can believe what you want, but he truly doesn't operate that way.

Agreed. BP is legit. Choose not to read his stuff or consider his input if you want, it's your choice. A very stupid choice, but it's yours if you'd like.

Scout and Rivals...feed their fans-that is why people pay them $$$-they'd be stupid not to be homers...play to your audience.
BP works for neither...gives his opinion good or bad. May not be right 100% of the time but his analysis is usually more in-depth than scout or rivals.

That is a good point I had forgotton about that. He said Young was ok but not great last year when everyone else was hyping him as a star. He also said that Hannah was a huge loss when he went to Mizzou when most were saying it wasn't a big deal because we still had Young coming. He is a KSU alum so he may have some natural bias like we all do but he's not a total KSU homer. I do think he knows Martin and likes him from his time in Florida so that may make him a bit more biased then in the past. He was never much of a Huggins fan.

Can't disagree with that. By no means is BP 100% correct. But I do put more stock into his info b/c he does cater to a different audience. He's been doing recruiting analysis for coaches since literally before the internet was a fan tool. If a fan based recruiting analyst messes up, fans will gobble up the next guy he sells them. If a guy like BP screws up, he'll be out of a job b/c coaches aren't going to listen to him anymore especially over the long haul. Therefore, I think what he says about players has a little more merit than Jerry Meyer or Justin Young

How far back does our feud go? Probably longer than you've been alive. Do I have my reasons? Sure, I think we all have our reasons for how we align ourselves with/against guys like BP and I've chosen not to get into a 30 minute long diatribe on what makes me consider him a source for poor information (Poor Intelligence Scouting Source) (PISS). Hopefully that little bit of knowledge I just dropped on you gives you the answers you're looking for, i.e. save the drama for your momma.

IIRC, this fued goes back to the days when KSU's colors were still blue and orange. I had forgotten clams was that old.

Whoa, easy bud. No, I didn't know that you and BP were in some sort of a hatfield vs. mccoy feud. Honestly I thought you were just some internet message board feind that thought he knew more than someone with proven connections...but it appears that you know/knew BP quite well.
