6th Round Pick (#186) of the San Francisco 49ers. He's got the ability to contribute in the NFL but he is indecisive as a runner at times and he has a history of fumbling the ball. As long as he comes in with a healthy attitude he can play in the league.

We were so good last year, we had an NFL running back at 3rd string.    :blindfold:

Surely he can pass Maurice Hicks and, for sure, Michael Robinson (he's a freakin' QB for God's Sake) on the depth chart. Mel Kiper Jr. just said he'll be a solid backup for Gore.

What round are T-Gunn's biceps expected to be drafted?

I'm kind of surprised he went.  He's great, but he played so craplike this year and was benched, mostly for attitude.
He was our only guy who could manage to score against Louiville.  Just wish he'd have used that NFL draft talent last year.

He has upside. Played behind the big12's craptiest line.

Uh sure.  His upside is his massive upper body.  Other than that, there's not really anything there.

Seriously, if the guys 40 time would have been slightly better (4.5 range) and he wouldn't have been suspended last year (and year before) he might have been a 3rd round pick...

I thought it would show up underneath your post, or at least next to it.

But it didn't so I deleted, because it was out of place.

But you saw it, so no problem.

Hate to be the one to break it to you but...  Hollywood = LA and San Francisco = about 5 hours north of Hollywood.  At least you got the state right!   :D

He has the speed, he has the quickness, he has the agility, he has the strength, he has the vision, he has the decision making skills, he has the stamina.

No balance.

And that's the most important aspect of being a running back.

I don't know that he has the ability to think that deeply.   :D

Decision making skills?  Really?

Are you talking off the field decision making skills?

Take a look at the first round of the draft.

Now how many of them have been convicted of Marijuana Possession?

He's a much better kid than any of them...

I'm not talking about off the field problems.

That's even more of a joke then. He makes good decisions, and finds holes just fine. He also shows good patience going to the outside, his problem was the absolutely worthless offensive line. He makes all of the right cuts, he just can't execute them because of his balance.

Also, if you are including his "fumbling" problem on his decision making, its actually because his arms are too big, and when he holds it tight and then his muscles flex, it loosens the ball.

Does anybody here think that T-Gunn will make the team come next fall, or will he flame out in camp?

My personal opinion is that he will be cut.
