Frank Martin's wife, Anya, gave birth to the couple's second child at 10:52 a.m. Wednesday at Manhattan's Mercy Regional Health Center. Christian Francisco weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 201/2 inches long.
Christian joins older sister Amalia, a 2-year-old, in the Martin household. Frank Martin, who was promoted to replace Bob Huggins as head coach nearly three weeks ago, also has a son, 6-year-old Brandon, from a previous relationship.
Congratulations Coach Martin! :ksu:

I was born in Manhattan, 33 years ago.
My sister, however, has a very distinct honor. She was born in Manhattan, KS, Feburary 12, 1977, during halftime of a ku-KSU game. My Mom swears the doctor made her wait until halftime, and she kept getting mad at my Dad for watching the game.
KSU won that day!
