Bennett not on the 07-08 roster:

Looks like walk-on Brady Johnson is no longer with the team as well.
:'(

now remove walker, and there is your 07-08 roster with Mark Fox at the helm.

You can't coach "experience".

"You can't coach consensus top 10 talent" >>>>>>>>>> "you can't coach 7'3"
You can't coach (insert really tall players height) is one of the most overused phrases in basketball. We said the same thing about guys like Leonard, Canby, and Hughes and those guys collectively didn't average a double double. Frankly I'd rather take my chances on Colon who already had some semblence of an offensive game, played with passion, and by all reports seems to want to get better and be here than Bennett at this point. Don't get me wrong, I wish Bennett had worked out, but its probably better for Bennett and K-State that he land somewhere else. In fact, I hope he does well at Auburn.

How can he go to Auburn? Won't he have to sit a year? I can't read the article, am I just completely out of the loop?
-
I think he'll have to go JUCO for a year if the rumors of his grades are as true as the rumors of his desire to leave. I don't think you can transfer to another D1 when you are flunking out of one. My guess is that Bennett plays a year of JUCO, then a year of D1 somewhere before trying to go pro.
-
Auburn is speculation. He'll probably go JUCO first if his grades are bad.
-
What a waste.
Too lazy. Period.
-
But grades aside, isn't there a one year transfer rule?

Yes, barring some special exception. He can go JUCO for a year, then open his recruitment. Or he can open his recruitment up as soon as he gets a release and sign somewhere and sit out a year. I just said Auburn b/c that was high last time and I believe that is where his mom really wanted him to go.

Kareem Abdul-Jabaar is going to be so disappointed.
-
hughes had some ability. he shouldn't be lumped in with canby and leonard.
-
Yeah. As much foul trouble as he got in, and as creepy as the crap he did was, I still kinda wish Hughes was here. Or at least Justin Williams.

He could at least finish around the hoop. Too bad he only lasted 5 minutes per game.
