Title: attention collegian sports staff
Post by: fatty fat fat on April 20, 2007, 10:33:47 AM
creating the "ultimate qb" should have no part of allan evridge involved.

1-5 as a starter, with that one win being the MU game when he was pulled for Webb.

Cedrique Flemming, you suck.

We'll see how he does at Wisconsin... I think he'll be very good.

folks, that aint toughness.

it's a lack of awareness.

like his penchant for running 20+ yards in the wrong direction.

Well thank you. I didn't know having one little thing about Allan Evridge would piss off so many people. I apologize that you guys care so much about something so miniscule.
Oh by the way, I actually didn't come up with that one, but go ahead and keep bashing me because I probably deserve it for something else stupid that I've done in the past!!
So if you don't think ours was good enough, why don't you tell me what you think would make the ultimate K-State QB??
I'm interested to see what you think we should have done.

every thing was good, except for the evridge bit. that part was laughable. the guy sucked ass and didn't have the toughness bish/ell had.

I'm trying to remember right but I think it was after the Big 12 champ game in '03 that Snyder said in a press conference that Roberson was the toughest player in the nation and that we didn't know half of the injuries he had.  Man I miss him. :shy:

Yea, I definitely agree. J Rake is much better than me. He's definitely a better writer and reporter. I just try to do what I can, which obviously isn't much. Have you read some of his columns lately...they're amazing. He's a real impressive writer because he tells both sides of the story and does alot of research.
We're pretty good friends so I see how much work he puts into his stories...he's definitely a great writer and I'm lucky to have him on my staff.
And we could definitely use Ell again...Hopefully Freeman can be even better..I'll guess only time will tell.

What was wrong with his Bennett column? Everyone I talked to thought it was good.

And I agree with the Evridge thing. I interviewed him a lot and personally, I thought he was the biggest d bag in the whole world. I was so excited when he left because he thought he was so cool.

Even if Ell was tougher, you can't deny the fact that he did take a beating when he was on the field though. The o-line sucked that year.

Yeah, that's just what this world needs. More Gregg Doyel. While we're at it, let's give Jay Mariotti his own sports network.

But if Reilly did get canned, we might take him at the Collegian. We still need someone for the women's equestrian beat.

that's hilarious Austin,

Hey J Mart... I'm going to be doing research and reporting and stuff, and hopefully writing a few stories. It's in the Time, INC. building in NYC. I've never been to the city before and I've never lived in a big city before so I'm pretty excited for the opportunity.

No, I definitely wasn't whining. I was just asking you guys to verify why you hate Evridge so much and what you would have done differently. How is that whining? It's called receiving input for future reference.
And about the bragging, I really wasn't doing that either. I was just responding to a question asked about my email address. Is it bad to answer a question presented to you? I didn't think so.
