Our emergency back up plan is in jeopardy.  Wooly has contacted his head hunter.

He really should have tried to latch on to the Tim Floyd bandwagon for a couple years.

An angel like Wooly was running to get away from a sleazy coach like Floyd ASAP.  That's what makes replacing Wooly with Huggins so deplorable.  This is your standard case of good vs. evil.

cept i viewed huggins as the good, and wooly as the evil.

nothing is more evil than finishing in the bottom half of the conference and no post season seem all right.

wooly did a great job of restraining floyd in previous years.  now that wooly has finally given up on floyd, it is easy to see floyd's true nature emerging.  sad, if you care about floyd's immortal soul.

edit - included an important comma.

what did floyd do, recruit/sign/play some guy on the state pervert list?

the above is not really a problem, cast the first stone type thing.  hard to gain redemption from selling your immortal soul though

check your sources, redemption is always possible and available.

also, i hope it's obvious that i'm not defending floyd, just taking potshots at wooly.

the devil is better at writing contracts than weiser.  sold is sold, no easy buyouts.

OJ "I'll call you" Mayo did a great job of recruiting Tim Floyd.

you don't negotiate your buyout and redemption with the devil.  the devil isn't the one who redeems.

i know i have this subtle and indirect style, but if you truly need help figuring out who redeems souls, i can point you in the right direction.

trust me.  i'm one of those in need of redemption.

such a calvinist outlook.  the real afterworld is much more amicable.  the allmighty and the prince of darkness have a gentlemen's agreement.

They're really going after the lame retreads there.

Van Breda Kolff has always been my favorite dark-horse KSU candidate because he used to be the Pepperdine HC and was a Tim Floyd assistant in the NBA.

Its UCR...

If that's in reference to my "retread" comment, I would think they could find some young, gung-ho recruiting assistant that would be interested in their first D1 HC job.  The fact that they're all retreads is kind of odd to me.

Does he speak Spanish?  If not an east side gig will be a tough go.  Out in whitebread Malibu however ....

I correct my earlier statement. The job is Wooly's if he wants it. Chum, we have a coach now that probably no other D-1 school, and all high schools in Florida for that matter, wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole, i.e. hire.  wtf?
