He, unlike too many other sports reporters, gives you an honest story rather than one that was manufactured for the public’s consumption and for that sport writer’s personal advancement...

We could hire Martin and Hill, and automatically get a #1 player, a top 10 player, and a top 100 player.

Or we could hire Fox, and get experience.

More like: recruiting, ability to relate to players, recruiting, schmoozing parents, recruiting, recruiting, keeping players in school, recruiting, burying the dirty laundry where it won't be found, recruiting, recruiting, recruiting, recruiting, recruiting, Xs and Os, recruiting, gameday coaching ability, recruiting, recruiting, experience. In that order.
