From what I've seen of those 3, Balkcom has been in the mix the most, though Latimore pushes him pretty good.  He's playing some behind Moran at NT.  I believe Crews and Balkcom are playing more at the DE spot (I consider Campbell, Cox, etc. OLB, not DE).  Abana is slated to play one of the DE spots when he gets here FWIW.  I project our front 3 starters next fall to be Jackson, Moran, and Abana, with Balkcom, Manu, and Cline in the rotation.  Crews and Kendall could both push for some time in the mix as well, but I'd anticipate the first 6 I mentioned will end up being the 2 deep next fall.

He has said he expects to play both DE and NT in the Defense.

My source was as good as it gets at the coaching clinic. :)

He may end up at NG, but the plan is DE first and they'd like to keep him there b/c of his combination of size and athleticism.  I think they like what Moran is doing at NG right now.

A quote I heard on Crews from a former player: "he is a lazy piece of $%^&"

Also keep in mind on Abana; he has only been playing football for about 3 years.  I think they'd like to get him at one spot and keep him there, especially with the NG being a 2 gap player and the DE being a 1 gap player in this defense.  Keep it fairly simple for him and let him make some plays.
