You need to buy a water filter so that when your toilet flushes the water refills purple.

Hook the toilet up to a switch so that every time you flush the Wabash plays.

Be sure to rock back and forth "doing the Wabash" while sitting on the can.

Put the can on a rocking mechanism so that every time it flushes you are forced to rock when sitting.

That would be some hellatious plumbing.  I was thinking more along the lines of a powercat shower curtain, and ku or NU toilet paper. :onthecan:

kinda of a minor detail but ive seen the faucet knobs "kstated".  most knobs now adays have the center circle that pops out and where it is fastened down, normally showing direction for water temp. take it off popout the H/C label* and fit it with your own personalized powercat in the middle.

*if you still get confused on which way is hot versus cold this probably isnt the best idea.

Yeah, I've heard of that.  You can also get powercat cupboard and drawer handles, but they're kinda pricey compared to regular handles.

Take some before and after pictures. I'm always disappointed when I forget to do that after a project.

I'm interested in doing the same kind of thing, too.  I've heard the KSU purple is too dark.  I'm thinking edging in purple and have a solid white wall would work best, with a Powercat on the wall or something like that.

I don't know, I may not be able to take the criticism.  Purple paint is only being used for trim/pic frames.  And the urinal might have gotten VETO'ed.  So it's not gonna live up to the hype.  But I do have a picture of Snyder on the sidelines next to my mirror.  When I face the mirror it looks like he's pointing right at me with a not angry (You did good but I can't let you know it) look on his face.  (Gives me a little ego boost every morning)    But if you really want some pics I'll post when complete.

I don't have many before pictures, but I have a lot of "during the contruction" pictures...I have yet to take pictures of the completed project with furniture/drawers completed.

I used a brighter purple paint on the sides with white trim/ceiling/buildin cabinet.  I think it works great.  If you want an unbiased second opinion, ask kilgore, he has seen the room a couple times for football games.  Houston bowl and Superbowl rocked.

an  unfinished or able to be remodeled basement was on my list of things thatI wanted when I got this house.  The next house will be the same way.  I have learned serveral things about this project that will definately help out with the next house. :)  Start planning on it, now. haha.
