Title: The interviews that I've read and seen give me the idea that most of the recruit
Post by: waks on April 06, 2007, 12:15:27 AM
don't really wan to follow Huggins all that much. I'm pretty sure most of them are about as pissed at him as we are and probably won't follow him. I also don't know if the coaches will be all that fond of the idea of following him. Huggins might have &@#%ed himself pretty badly....

Whatever else he might be Hugs is one of the winningest coaches of all time and a legend in the making.  If he calls the assistants will probably follow him.

Beasley can't follow him, can he?  Can't Weiser make the LOI release conditional if Beasley requests one, or does that only apply to transfers?  IMO, if Weiser can't make the LOI release conditional (to prevent Beasley from going to WV), he wouldn't grant it.  BTW, it does seem like Beasley is pretty damn pissed at Huggins.  Good for him.

The assistants would be more likely but the recruits really seem ticked off. And they are only 18 and 19, they are going to be pretty stubborn..

Conditional releases are no longer allowed. You either release them or you don't. No conditions.

maybe he called the assistant coaches and he said that he was thinking about going and only if they came with him, they thought to themselves, "&@#% no, we won't go with you, but just to &@#% you over like you're about to do to k-state. . ."

"yeah sure, bob, anything for you, just call back and tell us when to go, ttyl!"

"anyways, guys, lets go talk to the players, and you get beas on the phone. . .championship (shooting motion)
