I pray he doesn't pull a Dana Altman. I don't think it would be as easy.

He should die before that happens. With all this stress, he should have a heart attack sometime tonight.

I don't know if Weiser/Wefald would take him back (actually I'm sure they would but it would be really hard). After all of the crap they said about if they had known of the WVU clause then they would have never hired him. I would have a lot of mixed feelings if he pulled one but I think I would be really happy about a few weeks down the road.

He also won't pull one, just to clear that up.

Weiser AND Wefald would tell him to go &@#% himself. Period.

It was W&W's responsibility to know what schools Huggins might leave for. Did they not ask Huggins about this last year? If yes, and he didn't answer truthfully, that's just another mark against the man. But, if W&W didn't ask, then they failed to do their jobs and investigate every angle of the new hire.
I realize all of this happened somewhat quickly, but I'm unimpressed by the shocked and stunned reactions of W&W. Is Weiser so inept he didn't have a clue as to the shifting coaching landscape in college ball? The quotes by Weiser on how he "fought" to retain Huggins are embarrassing. The only thing worse is if Weiser clutched at Huggins leg as Huggins walked away.
How many more chances does Weiser have to get this right? This next hire has to be make or break for TW as AD at K-State. And this doesn't even bring Ron Prince and the football program into the equation.
I have to think the clock is ticking on Weiser. It needs to be.

clearly they asked and he clearly lied. thanks.

They asked. Blair Kerkhoff (I think). KC Star. Check into it. Cliff's Notes (Weiser): If he'd told us that he had special feelings for his alma mater at some point, we would have kept looking.

Weiser and Wefald and FHCBH are in cahoots (sp) and they are going to make huggs tell WVU that they need to open up schollys so they need to release some, and when they release about 5, and huggs will be like April Fools bitches see ya in manhattan. . .and thanks for the whiskey!
