Sorry, I looked at this last night but just noticed this one this morning.

Mayo
12 points
4-17
1-9 from three,
3-4 from the line,
3 rebounds
1 assist
1 block
3 steals
23 minutes

Holy crap.  You can excuse the bad shooting because you know he's got the ability.

But seriously.  This guy was the main point guard for East.  He had one assist in that entire high scoring game.

OJ is definitely better suited to be a SG.  He can handle the ball sure, but he can't distribute it for anything.

He is that interesting combination of being both a great passer and a selfish player.

In all fairness, OJ started out at the 2 guard.  They just gave him the ball alot in the 2nd half and he tried to put on a show because he was being upstaged and playing poorly on national TV....his first real showcase for sponsors and other promotional opportunities.  He has game I'm sure, he just didn't show it much because he was trying too hard to be "the man".

It's hard to "distribute" when you're firing up 17 shots in 23 minutes.
