Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star suggests there's a chance the Royals release first baseman Ross Gload and eat the $1.9MM owed to him in 2009.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Royals got a bargain unloading that POS for under 2 mil.

I'm more than a little surprised that they ever gave that dude 1.9 mil in the first place.  I assume that was for several years, but it's not like he ever showed anything to make you think he would ever be worth much more than league minimum.

Not once in the history of baseball has there ever been a player named "Later."  There has been an "Early" and a "Sunday" though.
