Mr. Guaranteed 2,000+ Yards Crawford is so excited that he is leaving the program!

The fact that a 3rd string running back is still in your head pretty much says it all.

It's good to keep an eye on felons.

Didn't realize Crawford was a felon.

:dunno:

Some felons have a way of slithering out of rape charges and potential vehicular assault charges.

But guys . . . we're getting away from the theme of 1000's of tickets still available to "watch history happen".

Guilt by association... government corruption.  Unless we're talking Bill Snyder.

Again, call the Kansas Attorney General's office and make a complaint about Bill Snyder and K-State, he has to answer to all Kansan's . . . he's not the ku cops, on the ku campus, "investigating" a ku athlete, in a ku building, sending a report to the ku alum DA in Lawrence, KS.

KBI:  1-800-KS-CRIME (1-800-572-7463)

Six has been very active in the arena of Government Openness and accountability, and since the KSU IAC is a quasi governmental agency falling under the auspices of a Kansas Public University (and does receive SOME state funding for facilities maintenance) . . . no doubt he'd love to hear from you Ben and to discuss this issue.

But that has nothing to do with the 1000's of seats still have for "watch history happen" . . . come on ku fans, they're already telling you they're going to win the Big 12 North.

If Ben Leuken still had a head...

And Ben, who cares if the JUCO AA had offers from Tenn. and OU? We kept hearing this crap last season about how good the JUCO Offensive POY Crawford was going to be, and look how that turned out.

just to chime in i know this part of the argument is looong gone. but my grandfather and basically the whole side of my moms family has had jayhawk season tickets since the 60's and they got free tickets to all non con games last year the year before etc etc. kids from my high school said they can walk up to the ticket office 30 min before kick off for every season for non con and games v ISU Baylor and Colorado for the past 5 years including 07.

so don't be spewing only the students get them for free anyone who wants non elite game tickets for free can get them

Ben's claims concerning ku ticket practices prove that...

1. He is a liar.
and/or
2. He's never gone to a game or had to buy his own ticket to a game for himself.

The average Jayhawk is steeped in a culture of corruption and cheating (see probation for lack of institutional control, see corruption in the ku athletic dept ticket office, we DON'T see numerous other slimeball deals going on at ku, but they are there).

So...Jayhawks think everyone else is a corrupt, and as prone to cheating as they are.  As I've posted before, there's not even a hint of criminal behavior in the recent KSU fiasco, but ku dullards who think we're like they are, and want to rant about "embezzlement", "tax fraud", etc.   It's on message boards here, on the KC Star, and the Wichita Eagle message boards.  Talk about retarded, intellectually stunted bedwetters, and you'll get a beeline to a Jayhawk fan.

What is this, Mangino's 8th year?  By Snyder's 8th year we were averaging like 48,000 a game in a 45,000 seat stadium and that was with a completely retarded athletic director (running theme @ ksu)

hmm

http://www2.kusports.com/news/2009/aug/01/ku-football-season-tickets-hot-item/
ku associate athletic director Jim Marchiony said Friday that the university had sold approximately 35,000 season ticket packages as of last week

What is this, Mangino's 8th year?  By Snyder's 8th year we were averaging like 48,000 a game in a 45,000 seat stadium and that was with a completely retarded athletic director (running theme @ ksu)

ku averaged 50907 last year, in a 50071 seat stadium, not quite to ksu's level, but getting there.

Only 35,000??  Not very good for the 2009 Pre-Season Big 12 North Champions considering the season is coming up at 1 month away.   So are there going to be 10 or 15,000 "complimentary" tickets for the first game??

Kind of sad.

They only give out complimentary student tickets, and only to the first game, to get more kids to buy the ticket package.
As the article said, 35k is 1k more than the same time last year, which set a new record in ticket sales. Looks like another new record this year.

Kind of sad that a school with 28,000 students, in a town of 100,000 people just down the road from KC, and with over 100,000 alumni within 2 hours only selling 35-38,000 season tickets for a 2009 Big 12 North Pre-Season Champion team.   Single game tickets go on sale on Monday, and still plenty of Rock and Chalk packs available for you OU and NU fans that may be looking in.

$50 bucks for the non conference games??  I'd be talking to the ticket office about a better rate, because $50 bucks a pop for Northern Colorado??  Plus the game is on TV . . . hmmm.  I'd think I'd be on the prowl for some of those 10-15,000 "complimentary" tickets.

What's Iowa State got to do with the fact that there are still 1000's of tickets still available for the 2009 Big 12 North Pre-Season Champions??

ku has more students than K-State, more alumni than K-State, is in a bigger town, and is a lot closer to a major metropolitan area.  Bragging about maybe selling 1000 or 2 more season tickets than K-State did a few years ago isn't much for people to be impressed by.

34 days til kickoff and still 1000's of tickets available for the 2009 Big 12 North Pre-Season Champions.

Nothing really, I just find it amusing. A team that has won less than 10 games in the last three years still outdraws ksu..interesting. Looks like there will be more red than purple at arrowhead.

The fact of the matter is that ku is a basketball school. We consistently field elite teams and it draws much more fan attention. It's not easy for the football program compete with the preseason #1 bball squad that we have in Lawrence.

As we continue to put a better product on the football field field (and we are) the ticket sales will take care of themselves. Talk all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that our football program is winning more and recruiting at a higher level than yours. I don't see any evidence that this is going to change either. Don't let this distract you from your idle trolling though. Good luck this season.

Shocking how that works considering that it is technically an Iowa State home game.   I laugh at squawks who keep bringing that up, making it sound like it's some kind of arduous journey from Iowa to Arrowhead.

But congrats on your moral "there might be more Iowa State fans than K-State fans at Arrowhead" Victory.

Now I know you're not the brightest bulb in the bunch but have you considered that Iowa State only had 6 home games last year, and K-State had 7??   You know, no end of season meaningless game.

But I am still trying to figure out what Iowa State has to do with 1000's of tickets still available for "History Awaits".

Self . . . ku is doing a good on the recruiting trail, but it's not like there's some kind of massive gap in talent between who K-State is likely going to land this year, over who ku is likely to land this year.   Come on man, ku ain't Texas or USC.

Nole . . . still haven't found any of your posts on any FSU boards, can you provide some links??  TIA buddy.

Plenty of good seats still available for FSU football.

The Validators and the Validator nut hangers are out in force tonight.
