The only thing that can salvage this is if he sells the inventory to local affiliates in Kansas and the KC area like KU does with their Jayhawk Network, but they don't have nearly as many tier 3 games. The problem with this is 10 games is a lot to sell to networks with their own primetime shows and special holiday season programming.

are we seriously not going to be available on ESPN3 (like we were when FSNKC carried us) when every other rough ridin' conference team is?

That's not even the point. Being on basic cable in the region is worth more in exposure and free advertising than whatever we get selling web subscriptions.
