Casa de CNS y los muertos
« on: August 17, 2012, 02:10:45 PM »
I am scheduled to meet my realtor to put an offer on a sweet house tonight.

Just found out from a guy in that neighborhood that the last guy died in the shower(realtor said that the house was old people dying free).

Also, his wife had an entire huge ass room filled floor to ceiling with those old creepy collectible dolls.

I have seen way too many Tales From the Crypt that start this way.

I mean, sure Halloween will be legit, but I would be getting dead guy on my feet every time I shower.

 :ohno:

Doesnt bug me at all but I havent mentioned to my roomate or my gf that my gpa died in the house...

Definitely my first thought in all of this.

Second is what to do when my daughter is levitating above her bed? :dunno:

I've never had dealings with an HOA, but the whole concept of it seems like it would attract nosy people.

Btwn the HOA and the angry ghost of the estate that I am about to lowball, maybe it isn't a good idea.

UPDATE: I have decided that I am going to ask for a pre-emptive exorcism as a condition to my offer.

If they accept your lowball offer, I would go ahead and move in. Otherwise, I would just find a different neighborhood. Ghosts do not exist, CNS Casey.

Not after the exorcism they won't.

Should probably bring in some Native American bones and bury them in the basement.

I would bury them in the nosy neighbors' yard. Then when they come by not minding their own business, I would mention hearing strange sounds in their back yard last night.

I heard somewhere that the realtor has to disclose if someone died in the house in the past X years.  May of been a random tv show though so it could be complete bullshit

I actually looked that up today.  It is diff state to state, but in most states, that is only the case if the house caused the death(electrical mishap or something).

I'd guess a ghost scared the hell out of the old man that died in the tub. I mean, is that the ghost or the house's fault?

All depends on where the Native American bones were buried the first go round....would be my guess.

Yeah, I guess you'd have to find the bones before you could make a ruling.

This was a really good answer.
