Watch the few CSI episodes where the killer gets away or they can't convict the killer because of lack of evidence. Then do those things.

Used to think about this a lot since i grew up in the country and could hide a body alot of places. Seems it would be fairly easy. It would have to be a random person though.

Yeah, and you have to hide the body somewhere random, then the murder weapon somewhere random, trash the car someplace random. Totally agree.

Random person is really the key. This is why serial killers are so hard to catch. A serial killer that only kills once? Yeah, prolly don't catch too many of them unless they're really sloppy.

2. Steal a gun from someone who is on vacation and doesn't have a security system
3. Kill some random person with it with no witnesses
4. Put the gun back where you found it

Now a challenge would be killing someone in broad daylight with several witnesses, like in a grocery store or something. I still think I would get away with it. They would probably bring me in for questioning and be all like "there is no way this guy is a criminal, release him and issue a public apology." Unless Caroline Mason from First 48 questioned me, then I would fold.
