New Union Restaurants Rumblings
« on: June 14, 2010, 12:19:14 AM »
Rumor has it that Wendy's, Einstein Bros. and De La Voce will be in the Union for the 2010-2011 school year.  There are several more additions to follow.  They will be replacing a number of existing restaurants.

Source rating: A-

Stay tuned.

two of my favorite lunch spots on the planet, folks.  the new spicy chicken sandwich from CFA has hit the heavy lunch rotation.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

It's definitely weird and my source (again, A-) thought it was weird too.  But he assured me it's going to happen.  I'll have more info on this later today.

Back when I was a student, I had to walk 20 miles uphill, both ways, to get to the union and all we had was some sort of crapty cafeteria thing.  Guess there was a subway down by the bowling area, where I don't think I ever actually bowled even once.

Sounds kinda :kufan: but they also had decent salads.  Basic, but tasty.  And the burgers were solid, too.

Guys,

This isn't the "Really fucking old dudes, who probably are like 35+ reminisce about the old timey foodshacks the Union used to have" thread.

Please keep all discussion relating to future food ventures in the Kansas State Union.  TIA

I worked at mean gene's for like 3 months.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
