Encouraging stuff here. Just from watching some film of the Arkansas v. USC game, it surprises me that Wilson doesn't have more rushing yards. He showed the ability to get out of the pocket and make accurate throws on the run.

what sets do they run on offense?  Will we be able to keep Walker in the game or will we have to go 4-2-5?  I think we are a better defense if we can keep 3 linebackers on the field.

Usually a TE, lots of 1 back with 3 wide. I would guess we'll try to keep 3 LB in as much as possible, especially since they are pretty balanced with run/pass plays. I'll try to post more on that as I watch more.

Almost everything, but we haven't seen any 3 back stuff this year.

Seriously, you will see everything from two tight I to 5 wide all receivers from us.

We have been playing a lot more 1 tight, 3 wide.  Our tight end has become a beast in the last half of the season.

Our 1-5 wide receivers will be the best wide receiving corps you have seen all season, and it won't be remotely close (yes, even better than baylor/osu).

Our top 4 wide receivers are Biletnikoff nominees.  No team in the history of college football has had more than 2 (and we have a full 2 more on the list).

You will not be able to cover us, at all.  The good news is you will be able to get some pressure on Wilson, and you will be able to run the ball down are throats the entire game.

I'll be pretty happy if we only give up around 400 yards.

And from an Arkansas fan's perspective... we just pray to hold you guys to under 200 yards rushing.  Which we probably won't.

(Obi Wan Kenobi hand guesture...)

You will not care about yards.  We will score all of the points we need and no more.

_Fan, is there such a thing as points per yard? Because we'd probably be leading in that. We seem good at scoring without gaining yards. Or maybe we just eff around and waste time with superfluous yards.

For all the negatives that people bring up about this site. _FAN is a gem like no other. I think their are a lot fine points about his site that outweigh the "bad." _FAN offsets it by myself though.

Thank you.

On the blog: I don't know how it shows on your browser, but notice there are links to a whole bunch of stats by clicking on certain phrases/names/etc if you want to see even more stats. It shows as slightly lighter text on mine.

great work, _FAN.  What makes you confident in K-State's defense in this game considering that the UofA offense is most similar to the two offenses that beat us this season?

I'm not _FAN, I'm a Razorbacks fan.  That said, I think you guys will stay in the game, because you will be able to get pressure on Tyler Wilson.  I also think that you will be able to score if you stick with the run game.

The defense can't cover, but it doesn't have to if you can get pressure on Tyler.  Arkansas gave up TONS of big hits on Tyler this year, TONS.

Good points. I'll just add that Arkansas' running game is not as good as OU/OSU and neither is their offensive line; consider that OU/OSU combined gave up 20 sacks on 1111 pass attempts. Arkansas gave up 25 on 440 by themselves.

Also, Arkansas' defense (which I'll address later in the week) is not as good as either OU or OSU IMHO.

i've noticed that arkansas runs a strong/weak side offensive line, rather than the traditional left tackle, right tackle, etc..... wonder if that changes anything in defensive preparation.
