Jeremy Crabtree at the KC Catbackers Tonight

Here is the question that needs to be asked....

"Jeremy, through your work with Rivals, you are able to draw from many sources to form qualitative opinions about the collective recruiting "ability" of the Big 12 coaching staff's, correct?  Given your position and knowledge, can you identify TWO schools staffs that you believe have been less effective than KSU?"

You have to ask for two, 'cause he'll likely throw some bullshit out there about how Colorado has a lame duck coach (no risk in offending the three Colorado fans who subscribe to Rivals).  I'd honestly doubt he could name another with a strait face....may cop out and say KU just because the got in late....but that would be bullshit as well.

The new powerespect response led by Rocky Mountain Cat is that they have numbers.  So if they need 4 DL's and they get commits from 4 DL's than that's a good job . . . it won't matter if they're 4 $hitty DL's as long as they are capable of lining up at the position.

Anyone who refuses to see the alarm bells when this staff targets specific players and recruits them for months on end and then doesn't land a SINGLE one of them . . . is just pure powerespect.

Of course I understand that you're not going to get every kid you want to get, but I'd like to think that if 4 or 5 kids to round out a recruiting class are giving us visits and they are highly focused targets that we could see get . . . ONE . . . yes . . . ONE.

Love that guy.  Seriously, love him.

It's like, opposite day, 24-7 in his world.  And in a very effeminate, male partner sort of way.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

So, did you ask Pete?

I  didn't go.

I wonder how long it will take the Wabash crew to figure out that the mystery player is McCay?  :dunno:  Maybe someone should go over there and post in the Crabtree thread that if they stroll over to www.goEMAW.com they can find out who the mystery player is?   :fatty:

fwiw, it's almost certainly not McCay.  Just like stoking the fire there.  Someone on here who knows more about recruiting than myself said it's prolly Manase Foketi

Foketi, it is then.

It's important to keep Juco three-star O-linemen commitments super secret, particularly if Rivals is reporting that they have NO OTHER D1 OFFERS.  'Cause once the WRSOAT identifies a guy, he is GONE!

Lopina was the same way.  the kid probably hasn't told the school he's committed to and doesn't want schools talking to him.

Probably fairly highly recruited.

Lopina at least had schools listed in Rivals database.
