If JC is half the money man he is reported to be, this should happen. If the video only has 10 people standing around then we just wasted an opportunity to raise and additional $500k or so.
Do a raffle for 20 or so lucky fans to be in a safety enclosed box about 20 feet from ground zero. Additionally, could easily fill up the east half of the stadium at $10 a pop. Then, with the old bleachers, put them at the edge of the parking lot and charge $10 a pop. Get a permit to sell alcohol for the day and you could make a cool million pretty easy.

Currie being frugal, I'd imagine we'll reuse much of Dev in the Expansion, including the bubble windows.

They didn't recycle anything? That is pathetic and makes me want to cry with you. It also reminds me one of the floats that was made for homecoming in the early '90s. It promoted recycling and being green. It had thousands of aluminum cans in the design. After the parade, they threw them all in the trash. Maybe this should be in the KstateO thread?

Yes. It is a badge of honor. At my real job, I am always asked, "Hey dobber, we are going to have a little brainstorming session on <whatever>, when would you be able to join us?" They never use my ideas. What I think happens is that after I leave the room, everyone else sets around looking at each other saying, "Holy eff, what is up with dobber?!"

One of these times I am going to come with an idea "that is just so crazy it just. might. work." Actually, I am hoping that happened today. I met with a dude who works for the Military. He was all excited that I was countering his wacky ideas with my own wacky ideas. It was pretty great. If I could tell you the details, it would have to be in the Kstate0 thread.

I'm totally going to take that day off from work when they demolish the Dev.  If they won't let people sit in the east seats, then I'll just have to park at Mercy or University commons and watch from there.
