True story, that's exactly what my gpa, and act score was in HS. I know, "fanning, you're a dumbass, we know this already." Coaches kept having me retake the test to qualify.

“K-State’s always been that team growing up I always wanted to play for,” Newell said. “My town’s about 4,000 people, and about 3,500 of them are K-State fans. It was definitely good to be able to say that I have a chance to play there now.”

LOL at the bashers who say "K-State has a world class jump program". BS . . . the only jump event in Big 12 track competition that K-State has somewhat dominated has been the high jump. K-State has only had ONE Big 12 outdoor champion in the long or triple jump since the Big 12 was formed.
