Kstate cat football: There is Nothing Better on the Earth / Band-aid

Why did OBz have a Nelly/Wally/McOreb band-aid on at the bowl "presser"?

Gets questioned about it around 18:45.  Stay tuned for the riveting story of his mom throwing away his baseball cards.

I'm in the process of drafting a response to a motion to quash in which the other party alleged irregularities with an earlier pleading of mine.  This is giving me the opportunity to file a response that includes the line "The Order could not be more regular."

:surprised:

I missed this entire part of the game.

Currently on versus, the UFL championship game between Florida and Vegas being played in an Omaha baseball stadium.

Tough call who to root for here.  21-20 Vegas right now with 6:30 left.

“We wanted an uptempo system, a fun style of basketball,” Hoiberg said. “If they play hard and give effort, I know the fans in Ames—if you play the right way—they’ll support you.”

Somebody dig up the SLTH quotes thread and we can merge this eventually.

LHC Bill Snyder was on the North Texas staff under coach Hayden Fry for three years from 1976-78 when the Mean Green won 7, 10 and 9 games for the most successful three-year stretch in NT history.

Immediately after being hired, Snyder and his wife saw cars around the North Texas basketball arena, so they decided to support their new school by attending a game. Approaching the ticket window, they learned tickets were going to cost $20.

"We thought, 'This is crazy. This is big-time athletics,' " Snyder said. "But we were feeling better about life than we should have, so we bought the tickets and went in to find our seats."

On the arena floor were rows and rows of chairs, and upon finding an usher, they learned that their tickets were for a Willie Nelson concert.

As Snyder tells it, "Now, we were Californians. We were new on this block. We didn't even know who Willie Nelson was, so we got our money back and went home."

+1

At the end of the day, we need to remember that these are just kids. Calling them on their cell phones (Brandon Rush), stalking them at their team hotel, etc, etc, is uncalled for. Let's cheer for our team tomorrow as we kick their @$$ on the floor and then go on about our business. No need to be a-holes.

Would like to drop them off with somebody in MHK tuesday.

Be there to catch CK's first official game of the season?

Look for an EXCLUSIVE goEMAW interview conducted by cub reporters Johnny Wichita and BBF$$Kat of a current ku footballer's mom.  Startling revelations will be, uh, revealed!

The OL probably taught one another how to tie these things on one of the camping and fishing trips.
