Hating Apple has nothing to do with being successful. It has to do with DRM, retarded control over what programs they allow, forcing such a closed platform, being asshats who unlawfully raid a journalist's house, pushing products with less power, less features, and less capability as "magical" and "revolutionary", etc. etc. etc.

And you may have been asleep the past several months, because phones out now make the 3GS look like a Zach Morris handset in terms of hardware.

As for your comment about hardware and software being better, don't kid yourself. Better to you is simple and easy. You're obviously not talking about the most capable, the most powerful, the most flexible, the most affordable, the most upgradeable, the most open, etc. Because Apple falls into none of those categories in hardware nor software.

I picked up Left 4 Dead 2 on the cheap and put in my preorder in for Red Dead Redemption. Will get Alan Wake eventually as well. Games this year are starting to pick up quite a bit.

Pretty good episode. Can't wait till next week.

And the best RB this side of the mississippi.

Daniel Thomas is legit, but the rest of your team kinda sucked.  The Big 12 North is weak.

Alexander Robinson can counter Daniel Thomas, and is better than DT when not injured. ISU is Farmageddon I champs, and victors over KU in 2009 with Robinson.

Whatever. Running up stats on OOS teams while turning pretty mediocre in conference is nothing to be excited about.

Not to mention, "he looked better because of conservative play calling." Come on. He's not throwing in Mangino's spread offense.

And play calling outside of the KU game was loose to bat crap crazy at time. He ran DT 15 consecutive times to the right side of the field. WTF? The trick plays. The Wildcat formation. Sweeps. HB passes. Yeah, really conservative stuff there, beems.

For the most part, Snyder got the ball in the hands of Daniel Thomas, which is a good strategy.  Gregory was rarely given the opportunity to sit back in the pocket and just let it loose.  Snyder set Gregory up for success by rolling him out of the pocket and keeping the opportunities for a mistake minimal.  The o-line wasn't out there trying to protect a spread offense QB, as you pointed out.

He wasn't given the opportunity because he had a wet noodle arm and moving the pocket gives more opportunities for poor receivers and scrambling. It's not a measure of an O-line's capabilities.

The O-line was a major surprise. Defense and Specials are mediocre to awful.

The 0-line was decent, but Thomas and Snyder's conservative play calling helped make them look better than they were.

No offense, but I don't think many here would come to you for football analysis. It's cute when you try, though.

Nice defense mechanism, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm right.

My "defensive mechanism" doesn't have to. You are wrong. And you have a long storied past of being full of crap when analyzing football.

Not sure where all the love for A&M is coming from. Maybe I'm just disillusioned by 62-14.

4 16-team conferences, with a championship game, and the winners doing a 4 team playoff would be the tits.

Anyone playing the Halo: Reach beta? I haven't played Halo 3 or ODST in ages. Thought they were awful. Reach is pretty damn fun though. Surprising.

Tried it yesterday. Never played ODST that much. Just stuck to Halo 3 for mindless relaxation. Reach was pretty cool. It was different. Took a little while to get used to the controls for me, not sure why they switched them up.

The changes to the maps make them useless to me, too confusing. But i did like how you can tell if a person is on a different level/story than you, not just right around the corner.

They're completely new maps. Why would people buy new games if it were the same exact maps each time. I understand throwing a couple remakes in there, but thats it.

crap....i meant radar, not maps. I get the new maps part. They were pretty cool. Sorry if that sounded dobbish.

You made up for it with that comment.
