Construction Update
The West Stadium Center construction continues to change rapidly on a daily basis as we close in on 100 days before the 2013 season opener! The project continues to run on schedule, and it is exciting to see the progress our construction managers Mortensen/GE Johnson make each day. Click here for the latest photo gallery of the project. Also, if you have driven past LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium this week, you will notice some work being done on the east side of the stadium. With the new lighting system put in place on the west side, we made the decision to replace the two light poles on the east side with new light standards that will be affixed to the top of the upper-deck structure. The addition of this lighting system will greatly enhance the stadium's appearance while tremendously improving the lighting levels, providing our fans, student-athletes and television viewers with a better viewing and playing experience!

Thoughts on McFarland's and oriental express (on 29th east of Wanamaker)?

Also that Mexican meat market with the orange building got shut down for health code violations before I could try it 

Also lol at taco tico getting shut down for not paying their taxes, that little building on 17th looks so sad (saw a sign for something involving java, coming soon)

Oriental Express is suprisingly good for being in such a small dumpy looking building.  Their little sushi bar is better than expected too.

The North Topeka (NOTO  ) Taco Tico reopened within a few days so not sure why the one on 17th didn't.

Me too man.  I went there back in October or November and ordered the biggest combo platter on their menu.  There was so much flavor and grease and salt that I was about to have some sort of weird fast food orgasm or something.  A few bites in I thought it wasn't going to be enough and would have to order more food.....but by the time I finished it I could barely choke it down and then felt woozy and ashamed of myself for the next 24 hours.

Hey, does anyone remember how I complained about my muscles being super duper sore from softball last summer.  Well, it turned out that they were all messed up because I had thyroiditis. I couldn't do any strenuous physical activity for a couple months.  It SUCKED super bad.  Watch out for that if you play.

Are you saying playing softball causes thyroiditis???!?

My team is down 2 guys right now due to some stupid graduation related events.  Can you play in one or both games of a doubleheader Friday night?  Oh it's in Topeka by the way so for your travel expenses we would reimburse you with some Busch Light or some other terrible beer.

What are the game times? I work til 5 in Manhattan. Id love to play though.

I almost can't drink water without a refreshing lemon slice in it. Should I switch to pop?

Just ask for a whole lemon and tell them that you want to slice it yourself.

The lemon already has poo on it before being sliced.
