What happened to that guy who used to post the VLCmedia links to the games?
Need a link for this weekend's game, if you have one that won't give my PC AIDS.

I've been up in Michigan the last two years and it's hard to get any info on the Big12 (who?) and especially KState.  I'm now back in Kansas (feelsgoodman.jpg) and I can't keep up with the guys at the water cooler when discussing KState.  They going to be good this year?

Ok, I get that OU lost and all, but...

Currently 5 BigXII teams are ranked top 25.  I know it's early in the season and I know the BigXII will eventually cannibalize itself, but 50% of our conference is better than roughly 80% of all college Division 1 football teams.

Is that guy gonna come by and post the stream link again to use in VLC player like he did last year?

The year is 1996 and the Big 8 is looking to expand.  What would you do if you could do it all again?  Would you merge with SWC, poach other schools?  Expand to 10 or go to 12 teams?

Hear me out,

I've been reading a lot of trash talk on CSU on this site and how they're not deserving of a slot in a P5 conference.  If the rolls were reversed, would we deserve a spot in a P5 conference?   It's not like we ran the gamut for a number of years and were asked into a P5 conference (Let's not forget, we didn't even know how to spell W-I-N until Snyder came along.)  Comparatively, our schools are very similar, except we have the fortune of "sneaking" into a P5 conference unknowingly all the way back in 1913 when we joined the Missouri Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MVIAA) --> Big Eight --> Big XII.  I think with the success and growth of the CSU campus and football program nowadays, I'd be proud to welcome them into the BigXII.  Hell, if the Big XII had broken up a couple of years ago, we would've been very welcome in the Mountain West.  Seriously, before TCU left that conference, the MWC was in serious talks for an automatic BCS bowl berth.

Road trips out to Colorado are always fun and I haven't been back there to watch football since CU left the conference (I'm still miffed at that).  If I can't get CU, I'll go and take their more Aggie relative, CSU, any day.

I found this searching around the internets... Have no idea from what generation it's from, but it needs to come back.  This Willie likes to fight, smoke, drink and screw (I imagine).  It might be perfect for the post-Snyder era once Venables and team get on board.

Mizzou: 4-5
Nebraska: 3-6
KU: 0-8
ISU: 3-5
KSU: 3-5
CU: 4-5

It breaks my heart, man.   :Crybaby:

You know, cause I was waist deep in water on campus this evening...

Who the hell is this Tim Tebow fella and why does he suck at his job?

So yeah, 7/10 BigXII teams heading to bowls.  I will root for every. single. one. :Woot:

First off, the bowl sucks.  Not only that, but could you imagine how boring this game would be?  Two ball control teams, 8 drives each....  Plus side, there wouldn't be that many commercial breaks.

Man, I am digging the Georgia Tech vs. Georgia game.  I'd really like to see that triple-option offense here at KSU.  That would be pretty neat.

In a world...
where the BigXII conference didn't exist.  In 2010, the Pac-10 became the Pac-16 with the addition of UT, OU, OSU, TTU, CU, and TA&M.  Kansas State, along with KU, ISU and Baylor headed off to the Mountain West Conference.  The MWC was currently receiving national attention because Utah, TCU and Boise St. were killing it in their post-season bowl games.  With the arrival of four former BigXII teams, the prestige of the conference immediately skyrocketed with the addition of power football and elite basketball programs.  MWC was able to create a conference championship game, negotiate a sweet TV deal with ESPN and received an automatic BCS bowl birth.

The scenario is all laid out in this article I somehow scrounged up.  Found here

I really think this would've been a great setup for the Katz.  Imagine traveling to beautiful mountain states instead of Lubbock for away games.  Not only that, but the MWC is a real 5 heart type conference.  Collin Klein still would've played for KSU too, being from Colorado.  I also think that KSU would be dominating that conference year-in and year-out.

So TOP for the UT game was nearly 40-20minutes.  That's what I'm talking about.

I get happy when I see ball control.  No homo.
