I don't know what music KStateo uses, but they may need to step it up against the likes of an orchestral remake of a Led Zeppelin song.

A division 1 bowl task force has recommendations for NCAA including this:

The task force also supports the new academic standards that the Division I Board of Directors adopted in August that would ban Division I teams that do not meet the 930 Academic Progress Rate benchmark from postseason play, including bowl games.

University of Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez said this week that attempts are being made to add Pittsburgh and Kansas State to future non-conference schedules.

Maybe he meant Kansas and Pittsburg State.  :dunno:

In the past, Kansas State and Ohio State have employed Bond Schoenick & King at a hefty price tag of $500,000.

From the Guard:

“Lawyering up is not an admission of guilt. Oregon hasn’t quit proclaiming its innocence, and might not anytime soon.

“But in hiring Mike Glazier — “the Cleaner,” some call him — Oregon signaled that this NCAA inquiry is a very significant matter.

Did not know we were that elite.  :kstategrad:

Grant Gregory, the starting quarterback of the Tampa Bay Storm in the Arena Football League, recently took time to do a Q&A session with The Capital Sports Report. His interview is about his sports career and views.

Things you learn on a Tuesday morning in May: Former K-State QB Grant Gregory was a RB for Tampa Bay in the Arena league last year.

Gregory, though, is the starting QB now? Arena football makes no sense.

Filemon in College Station, Texas asked: Who would you consider the top three darkhorses in the big12-2 for the 2011 football season? Assuming UT 2010 was only a minor blip..

DU: Well, I think it's pretty clear that OU, OSU and A&M are the favorites. My dark horses? Missouri, Texas and the darkest horse of them all: Kansas State.
