Just a warning [you], that moment where you felt important / special because someone mentioned your name in a thread will be dashed when you learn the truth.  :dubious:

No, it wasn't that.  I had posted on this thread before, but it had nothing to do with what I was being quoted as saying.  I was confused.

Let's all welcome UCF and USF to the BIG XII!  I know [you] and I are going to celebrate this glorious occasion.
Don't forget [you]!

Why is my name being invoked here?

I was just about to say screw it.  Let's scribble the names of 130-whatever teams on ping-pong balls and have a giant bingo machine spit out names to fill thirteen 10-team conferences.  It's round-robin play in each conference.  The winner of each conference gets an automatic bid to the 16-team playoffs, with the top four teams getting a first-week bye.  Seeding and top four teams are chosen by some group of deciders.

Guys, could you imagine?  COULD YOU?!   :excited:

Team Bingo night would be the most watched event EVER.  Also, gets rid of conference realignment based on silly things like geography, fan base, tv contracts and the like.  I would love to watch the season shenanigans.

Most games played/won in the south-east region of America.  Also true.

Did you guys know that KSTATE football was, like, really bad before Snyder took the HC job?  Like, so bad, they called us "Futility U" in a sports magazine.  Like, without Snyder, we would still be, like, sooooo bad.  Such a Miracle in Manhattan.

We lose by 28+.  Gonna be a lop-sided shoot-out and we'll be wearing turkey feathers.

I'm gonna give you all a 24 hour break. No need to add insult to injury.

No need. We aren't sensitive and you can't say anything to piss anyone off even farther than we all are. The ones who haven't gotten all of the emotion beaten out of us already. Judging by the number of posts and empty seats today, most have already given up.

Well, tbh, I don't think there is anything I could say about today's game that hasn't already been joked about/brought up. Decision making is apparently made by Unle Bernie puppeted by blithering idiots.

Run the ball and you beat WVU. It makes the defense play closer, and subsequently opens up the trash secondary for deep balls all day long. It was honestly surprising that it wasn't the plan from the start, especially given the talent the Cats have at RB.

Just dumbfounding.

Snyder is so good at scheming, that he's now scheming against himself.

this team is on pace to be the most disappointing team in the history of k-state football and i've officially given up on them and i suggest you all do the same.  it's the only way to send a message to the ad that all snyders need to go

bo pelini- always seemed like a true wildcat at heart, let’s bring bo home

I could probably talk myself into bo if carl comes along as well

I don't think there's that much blow in Manhattan.

People's memories are short.  I bet most kids at Kstate don't even realize Nebraska was in the BigXII or who Pelini is.

The offensive game plans of the two teams were laughable when compared to each other. They did a lot of very good things, we did the same old crap. I think we absolutely have the better offensive players but they had the much better game plan.

I also found the use of the QBs interesting. Their starter won last week, but got hurt. They benched him for a freshman and had a completely different plan than they did last week. We played our hurt guy and ran the same stuff despite him being hurt.

Sky Thompson better hope Dana is gone after this year, if not he's got three years of concussions, shoulder surgeries, twisted knees, and perpetually sliced up elbows.

Snyder ball always turns bright and promising young QBs into concussed cripples.  Remember that gnarly hit Klein took (I think it was against OSU) back in 2012?  He wasn't the same after that.  Ertz could easily be a better throwing QB, but his shoulders and knee are all banged up.  Jake Waters hurt himself and lost the long-ball.  Different QB, same story.  If I was a QB, I'd stay the hell away from KSU.

I wonder how many years has kstate gone backwards for every year that Snyder remained head coach.  I mean, yeah, he's the author of "Miracle in Manhattan" and all that, but how stuck in his ways does he seem to be?  He keeps this coaching staff year after year with no real difference in play-calling.....  is he shitting the bed on purpose so that Sean can come in and clean house and be the next hero?

Old and outdated.

Let’s run the worst 2 minute offense in the history of football. Oh, wait, we have never been able to run that under Snyder/ dimel

I want someone that brings a creativity on offense and quits running 1000 QB draws

The two minute offense thing is a really good point. When was the last time we executed it to win or tie a game?

I don't have any recent memories of such.  However, the announcers bafflement at our 2-minute play-calling is never dull.

I don't know of any specific examples.... but that penalty induced 2OT feels like they've been in that exact same spot many times.  And yes, they always call a stupid ass run for a few yards.  It always ends in a loss.

I didn't buy the hype from the pre-season.  Hell, I haven't even paid any attention to this team this year.  Snyder football is no longer fun for me.  Wondering what our team would've been like if we could've gotten Herman to coach for us.
