« on: April 16, 2013, 08:56:37 PM »Don't start playing a dumb instrument (trumpet, clarinet, trombone, etc) as a kid. Instead start playing a cool instrument (guitar, piano, etc) and get really good because I bet it would be awesome to be awesome at a cool instrument as an adult.

Why? He has 4 seniors and a lottery pick starting and KU was picked to win the Big 12. Weber has the same conference record with less talent and has greatly overachieved.
Weber has his team exactly where anybody who looked at last year's results with the players he had coming back would have expected. Bill's team has faced a ton of adversity, and he has produced better results than any other team in the nation. It's pretty much a wash, but I would give it to Bill if he wins the Big 12. If Weber wins it outright, I would give it to him. A very strong case could also be made for Travis Ford, but I feel like giving him an award would be rewarding him for the shitty job he's done up until this season moreso than the good job he's done this year.
Except for the coaches who pick K-State to finish 5th in the league.
