How to cook a pig head, how to spot a Johnson county swinger and of course that animals are amazing!

So, who's going to be the first goEMAWER to take pics of the new light standard on the EAST side that are going up?!

Is this happening today? :excited:

Thought about fishing the lake of Lenexa Sunday. Anyone ever fish that area or the smaller surrounding lakes in JO? Was going to fish from the shore for bass/crappie.

I dont normally fish public lakes, find a good looking pond on google maps and just walk up to it and start fishing.

Great way to get shot by some crazy farmer.

Pro tip- Dont go on crazy farmers land. Look on the edges of suburbia and there are pockets of land that got skipped over in development, alot of those pockets have farm ponds on them.

Pro Tip #2- Look at 435 and 69 highway on google maps. See the pond southwest of the interchange? These are the places I'm talking about. I fished it once in high school and caught a couple fish, will probably check it out again this weekend.

Thanks!

Any other Pro Tips would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is not a main priority with the vegetation disputes and WSC construction but is there any timeline for phase 5 or will that depend on the success of the team and ticket demands?

I have a dream of 60,000 seat super delux BSFS sometime in my life and would like to keep it alive.

But where are the lights?

I want to hear more about the east side lights.

Would love to deep sea fish someday but I am afraid of getting sea sick. Is this something that happens often?

Going pond fishing north of Topeka tomorrow morning. Very excited, haven't been out in a couple of years.

I fished a lot at rocky ford, the tubes, and surrounding mhk rivers and streams in highschool.

The tubes down on the rocks were my bread and butter. Used worms, minners, shad, and livers and would cast about 1 o'clock and let the water take it down stream. Usually pretty successful but there was a chance you would catch a lot of trash fish.

This thread gave me my first bowel movement in 3 days!

If I get to enjoy a beezy inside BSFS I'm gonna have to reevaluate the legacy of the Currie/Shultz regime.

I told him good luck!

Talked to a "big" NDSU booster a month ago in Vegas. Basically said that they were going to bring 15,000 fans down for the game and they were really really good.

This game makes me nervous because of our past performance in home openers and there are a lot of unknowns.

If we don't turn it over we win by at least 10.

I gave him a chance to correct his statement and he confirmed that they were the best traveling fans in cfb. He said they brought 20000 to the Colorado state game last year.

Robot is going in!

I Saw The Devil (2010): Basically an Asian version of Man On Fire, but with violence similar to Saw. If you can stand a few gruesome torture scenes, the psychology behind the killer and the guy getting revenge is pretty cool.

One of my favorites from last year!

Primer-  streamed this on Netflix because of the reviews. Very low budget, good dialog.  Movie is about time travel and is a total mind F. Pretty good.

The Hobbit-  surprised I didn't see it sooner. Really liked it.

Literally came here to also post about Primer of all moves. Very confusing but you sort of get that vibe that you just have to run with it anyway -- "realistic" time travel. But the acting and what seemed like the dubbing over of lines due to low-budget microphones(?) was sorta annoying. Worth watching for the concept. THEN READ THIS: http://qntm.org/primer

I'm glad it was not long. A lot is left up to interpretation because of the editing. Tried to figure it out last night as well but didn't have the energy.

prometheus = biggest turd ever
Respectfully disagree

I was jacked when I heard they were making it. I thought it could have been so much more than a average sci-fi movie.
