do you ever see a bat and then later realize that it’s not a bat but actually a wallace’s flying frog?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

sprac is biased because austin has this weird thing with bats.

bats serve their purpose, but i never want to see them.  their erratic flight pattern is unseemly.

I always point out bats at dusk so everyone arounds me knows I know what bats look like flying around

We got moved to a different room at my grandparents-in-law because there was supposedly a bat in the basement. My sons started pushing up the ceiling tiles looking for it. No bats were found.

Did your kids think bats crawled up under ceiling tiles to hang out?

I think they thought they would find something really cool, but all they found was that a Louisville slugger will break through 30 year old ceiling tiles.

when i lived in my frat house during the summer of 2010, there were plenty of bats.

we agreed to paint the interior rooms in exchange for free board.  the rooms were all disasters.  sheets and clothes everywhere.  one afternoon i was painting and moved one of the sheets and yep, there was a bat under it quivering.  very unsettling.

then one night there was a bat (could have been the same one?) flying around the hallways.  we trapped it in a wicker cornucopia and let it out outside.
