Did he get to keep his shoes from K-State?  Or are they at least not forced to wear UA from head to (literally) toe ?

Photo by Ricky Hickman during the first week of camp for McNeese.

Doc

This is a pretty fantastic pic, guys.  I mean, look at how mad their previously best QB ever is in the background while Our Guy steals his spot right in front of him.

I am looking forward to Sams' mom's tweets this fall.  She has two years of pent up Twitter celebrating to do.  Should be pretty great.

The first "See, I told you he could throw!" is going to get fistpumped over for sure.

Good shots doc.  The shot of Danny without a helmet looking stoic was just perfect.

Doc, would it bankrupt your AD to get our guy a glove that doesn't have a damn hole in it? Also, he wears a visor. We can take up a collection here if need be, but for chrissakes get the man some eye protection.

unl?????

Doc
you got this Doc, work through it
Oh, the Nebraska game.   Senior moment, brain fart, or whatever other excuse I can think of.   I tend to forget about the Lincoln part of their name.

I hope you guys are having a good training camp with no injuries.   Sounds like the Cornhuskers are falling like flies.

I would say good luck against SFA, but I don't think you'll need it.    ;)

Doc, how has Sams looked running the football?  He seemed to lose a step last year after hurting his knee in fall camp.

Well, we've only had one scrimmage and I don't have time to attend just practices, so I really haven't seen much that much, yet.   The first scrimmage was one where they wanted to get everybody in to see what they could do and we have 5 Qb's who played in it.   So, everybody's time was limited.   Reminded me of a NFL first exhibition game.    But he started with a bang.  First play was a 51 yard pass to a wide open redshirt freshman TE.

Second play Daniel blew by everybody up the right sideline for a 24 yard TD.

He had a couple of other scrambles that gained some yardage.   But our defense closed quickly.   I am impressed by our speed on defense this year.

The next scrimmage Saturday morning is supposed to be a situational type scrimmage and I'm sure he will get more playing time.

Doc, I hope you like the idea of scoring a crap load of points and winning every game you play.

I mean, start making the banners protesting you not getting invited to the four team playoff, or something.  Really Boise it up.

Doc, when Bo Pelini starts screaming at the refs and abusing his players while Daniel rains touchdowns from heaven all over their asses, take a mental snapshot and hold onto it forever.
