That's good to know.  I may a trip down there to check some of those places out this summer. 

In OK there's a place called Turner Falls.  It would be a really cool place if it weren't overrun with trashy people every time I've driven up there.

I'd get to Jacobs Well while you can. There's a huge water controversy in Wimberley over a drilling company planning to pump water over to Buda from the aquifer. It could really mess up the local water supply there and affect both the Edwards and Trinity Aquifer negatively, which could (maybe, studies are ongoing) mess up the Well.

Barton springs is great, I recommend the side you pay to get in.  The other side of the springs was just too austiny for me.  Water is cold AF just FYI.

I've been to several of them. My personal fave is Krause Springs.

Also just realized I've been to McKinney Falls State Park (I live really, really close by actually) but I somehow haven't jumped in yet. Think I might fix that this weekend
