yeah, not ideal. but i don't mind too much when i don't have anything else planned. i like traveling and a relaxed night in a hotel room is fine by me.

Just found out I'll be going to Indianapolis next month for work.

Never been, but I can't imagine it being that exciting. Any pro tips?

Phoenix update:

- Sedona isn't for me
- Found a couple good restaurants (The Gladly & Richardson's). Didn't have time to go to this huge 2 story brunch place (RNR) in Scottsdale. Seemed more like a club than a restaurant.
- Spring training is better than I expected....could see it being really good for a family with kids
- I dislike Phoenix overall still.

Great tokyo south pacific dive trip update:

Was suposed to fly to yap last night while it was. Getting slammed by the typhoon. Sounds like things are pretty bad on the islands so we're roughing it in guam then on to palau friday. Some lady said the looting was pretty bad. I experienced katrina first hand, no desire to live it again in a place like the south pacific.

I don't agree with this at all. schools, economy, taxes, culture, infrastructure, weather, etc. vary a lot from place to place. very weird post.
