That practice field and facility is so ridiculously located.

The plan set I'm looking at has the outdoor practice field directly adjacent to the east side of the new building. New building is next to to east stadium entrance as shown in the rendo.

There are trees on both the north and south sides of Kimball both between the sidewalks and curb and sidewalks and retaining wall. None in the median (which there shouldn't be). There's some old timey street lights and sidewalk lights that were just installed this week. The overhead power lines and poles from College east to the softball field are being removed. All in all a really nice looking stretch of road. No pics because I don't know how to post them.

For Townies and others that might use Kimball from the east... more to follow.

That rough ridin' piece of crap couldn't inconvenience himself to spare two minutes with me to explain the nature of my knee issues. He came in the exam room, looked at the MRI report for about 30 seconds, announced the prognosis, and attempted to walk right out before I stopped him and demanded to know wtf any of it meant. Didn't get any type of explanation. I had no idea he had anything to do with Kansas State Athletics and never saw his face again until just now, more than seven years later when I'm about to get total knee replacements at 44 years old.

No wonder we have a Footwatch thread with this eff face as the team doc.

The crap that some of you try to find to bitch about is outstanding to watch at times.

Can you give me a list of things that are safe to bitch about so I don't upset anyone? Thanks.
It's best if he doesn't provide the list. It makes it easier for the rest of us to figure out your hidden agenda.

Didn't Snyder, back in the day, have two co-coordinators suggest a play and he'd pick the winner?

I'm assuming Coleman will now be the decision maker w/ the other two making suggestions. Snyder probably opts out unless super critical moment in game.

The playcaller has to be in the box.  Coleman does a lot of coaching on the sidelines.  I think Klein is a better personality for being up there grinding over down/distance/situation play selection.

What in the world are you talking about? There are play callers on the sideline all over the place, on every level of football. The Big 12 champion has the head coach calling plays.

what he's trying to say is white people are better at numbers/critical thinking. I disagree, personally.

Only a rascist would read race into this post.  Race card race card etc yawn.

Look at Coleman on sideline.  Look at Klein when he used to be there.  Coleman is animated, fired up, coaching, hands on.  Klein is not.  Now, which of those two would you rather stick up in the box?  And which of those two would you want on the sideline.  It’s about personality.

Do you seriously not understand that your opinion is completely based on your observation and nothing else? Additionally that observation, intentional or not, plays off of a stereotype about blacks being emotional and whites bring cerebral, you really don't see that?

And before you say anything about "race card" please know the first time you made this observation, I didn't address it in this manner, benefit of the doubt. The second time you made the point it becomes a little harder to ignore.
Dude...it's an internet message board. With few exceptions, every post on this board is based on the poster's opinion. You seem to have a boner for attacking others opinions. Your counter-posts are no more based in fact than any of the other crap posted here.

Who is Bullnuts?

Also, you state that it's the coaches that "make a sham of the student athlete thing". Is this really the case or is it the universities and pro-leagues that are doing it? I think the coaches are just the middle men who happen to make a nice living off exploiting student athletes. Not as nice as the universities and certainly not as nice as the league owners in basketball or football.

I’d like an explanation for Bielma’s rapid progression of leaving great gig in Wisconsin, gaining a bagillion pounds, and then sucking as a coach.

Seems like he might have some issues that aren’t good for CEO’s.
Cross post to "Signs of Getting Older" but this is a common thing in the early 40s.

No explanation for the other things though.

There's a lot of hatred on Wildcat Salute! going on. They're violating the no negativity rules.

I am so disappointed in myself for hoping that our offense would attempt to exploit the weakness of the defense.
Well they tried to run out of a timeout on third and ten from the fifty with twenty seconds left and it didn't work so what now smarty-pants?
I don't know but apparently Bill always properly uses his timeouts. Let's go Warmack in the wildcat next half.

I learned in another thread on this blog that we don’t actually have inferior recruiting.
I mean the last touchdown we didn't have anyone within 10 yards of a guy right in the middle of the field. It also took us five three and outs and a fifty yard rushing touchdown to recognize the value of rushing against the worst rush defense in history.

So what I'm saying is our schemes are at least as big a problem as our recruiting.
So would you classify that as a coaching problem or a player talent problem?

This is hard to watch. The only person this broadcast gives a crap about is standing on the sideline.

The broadcasters are what makes this game difficult for you to watch?

Among other things. Have a good day.

What would you like them to talk about instead when you think they're talking about Rosen and Kelly too much?
Maybe they can talk about how our "78 years young" head coach hasn't decided if he's retuning next year.

Not too long ago somebody posted some supposed insidery information about how detached Bill was from recruits and current players. Said he rarely, if ever, interacted with the current players any more. I can't find the post but have thought a lot about it lately. If true, I think it's likely a deliberate move by Bill to ensure there's not a sudden rush out the door when he hangs it up creating an even bigger talent vacuum than necessary. I think this season is it for him and I think he's been intentionally setting the conditions for this move for the past year or two.

Bruh, he did three in home visits in the last three weeks.
Ok, but that doesn't really invalidate my theory. I don't follow his itinerary so I have no idea who he actually visited but I'm thinking three visits in three weeks prior to the first early signing period is nothing other than window dressing. The KSU recruiting sucks narrative aside, why NOT make a visit to get a kid to sign and then hang it up after they've already signed an LOI? If I'm not mistaken, they have to sit out a year or something if they decommit after signing an LOI.

I think the biggest threat of an exodus is with the players already on the roster hence the lack of interaction. He's conditioning them for when he calls it quits. It'll be no big deal to them because they haven't seen or heard much from the guy in a long time anyway. It also seems to me that most of the pictures, tweets, etc. have featured the commits with the recruiters (Seiler, Coleman, Dickey, even Sean) and less Bill than in years past. Again, I think this is intentional.

How do you get the needle? The PA I saw didn't even mention that. Just exercises, in soles, and new shoes.
I got referred out to a podiatrist who made me go through PT first. On follow-up, I said the PT, stretching, etc. didn't help at all. She then explained the next steps and asked if I'd want the steroid. I said yes. It's not 100% but far better than before. It's been about four months since I got the shot and it still feels pretty good even after getting back to running. I can go and get it again if/when the pain ramps back up. The next most invasive step is to do platelet therapy.

On a triple and quadruple sign of getting old, I got a couple sets of awesome custom fit orthotic inserts out of the deal and I recently sprained my hip. :cyclist:

I have ridiculous pain in my heel. I'm thinking plantar fasciitis. Headed to the doctor today to figure this out.

i had that.  it lasted like a year.  horrible affliction.

Confirmed. I'll live. I probably should do the exercises and rolling on stuff.
Do yourself a favor and go straight for the needle. It hurt like hell but none of that rolling stuff or any of the two months of electro therapy made a dent. I had no idea just how bad I was hurting until about two days after the shot and then I felt like a million bucks.

While in Germany I fell in love with butterkase, aka Butter Cheese for those that don't sprechen. Smooth, creamy, mellow, and rough ridin' delicious. Boar's Head makes an ok variant.

Looks like we aren't losing Leveston to Texas after all...

"K-State felt like my home, so I made the decision that I was going to stay committed to K-State," Leveston said. "I contacted coach (Derek) Warehime and I told him that I was going to stay. He said he respects my decision.

I told him that I really appreciate the offer, because I had always loved UT since I was a little boy and it was a true blessing to get that, that was one of my goals I had set this year to get an offer from UT, but Kansas has grown up on me, so I decided I was going to stay with K-State."
Tucking in my shirt and rocking some jorts, I'm gonna say I really like this kid.
