I think this Cat should change his name to SaudEMAW, really rolls off the tongue
i enjoy the unbridled enthusiasm they share for their program. a lot of you are going to be very bored when we play umass in a couple weeks.
Nobody expected NDSU fans to be like this, maybe UMass fans will surprise us too. That would just be a treat because I already hate Boston sports fans. UMass isn't in Boston, but I guarantee their fans are also fans of Boston sports teams.
I don't recall any interaction with UMass fans when we played them before.

Hope they don't get scalped.
one's genetic background doesn't give one's words more import, or for that matter, excuse one's stupidity.
Timmy you need to read the Manziel family history article. They are definitely not rich, but may be criminals. The kid should be able to profit from his own name. The NCAA should recognize this and change the rule. But nope, instead you get this ridiculous situation, which really makes you wonder if Dez Bryant murdered someone.
disagree....because then it basically becomes a bidding war for top recruits as to which schools can get him "better signing gigs." college athletes need to stop complaining. they are getting free tutition, free room and board, books etc. plus they get to work out with good trainers, get to travel all over the USA for FREE, i'm sure they get to eat like 3 meals a day, they get all the apparel/clothes. I mean hell, worse case scenario is you stay for 4 years, get a degree and dont have to pay a penny of it back all while getting to travel and having a blast being on national tv. Even if you leave early in 1-3 years(depending on the sport) you still dont have to pay any of that back onto your way to making millions. i think college athletes have it pretty damn good as is.
You act like playing major college football is the same thing as having a tough major. It's not; it's a job. You are going to school and traveling and have a full-time job. And it makes zero sense that you can handle your business and become a complete stud boss at those things and not profit from it. There's no argument against it that makes sense to me. And anyway, recruiting for the top players is already a bidding way; this would just make that more transparent.
everyone acts like these athletes are eating leftovers from a Chinese buffet. your point is dumb because what about those 4-5 year players who arent studs but start 2-3 years? alot of these kids get in trouble having little money so why give them thousands more to spend on booze and drugs? oh and btw Manziel's parents are filthy rich so he doesnt need the money in the first place.
pretty sure I read somewhere they had oil money
Why would you leave 2 days before the game?
I can't cut class. I want my academic record to reflect the fact that I take school seriously so that when I graduate might allow me to walk on to the team.
You aren't good enough at football to do that and your academic record doesn't mean crap. Just come and have some drinks with us.
Georgia and Clemson looks like a slobber knocker
I think Georgia will just murder Clemson. Clemson is an ok football team that should be competitive in the ACC. There are about 30-40 teams that are better at the game of football than they are, though.
Recruiting is a huge focus in the book, ranging from the rise of 7-on-7 teams, the task of NCAA investigators trying to control things and even a chapter on the pursuit of Sealy (Texas) High School star Ricky Seals-Jones.
Seals-Jones, once a Texas commit who wound up signing with Texas A&M last February, and his family open themselves up to the entire process. The juiciest part is an alleged offer to the Jones family from a "top-20 program" – not A&M – for the following: $300,000 in cash, use of a luxury suite during football season, eight season tickets and $1,000 per month for Ricky and $500 for the family.
"Oh, it was higher than that," Chester Jones, Ricky's dad said. "It was a lot higher than that." Chester Jones said the offers grew as high as $600,000 for his son's signature on a national letter of intent – one SEC school and one ACC school said they'd double any offer – but he declined them all out of principle and the fear of inevitably getting caught.
Anyone got photos(MS Paint) of Willie/Jayhawk offspring?FAMILY STADIUM, rusty!
where do you think families come from, a stork?
Which unfortunately probably means the days of stadium re-entry at BSFS are numbered...
