How should I be feeling about a team that - best case scenario - finishes the season at 3-10? And where does one draw the line between melting down and just calling things what they are?
probably 4-9, though. We will beat either KU or BYU.

When you spend near eternity with a non dominant product, you start to feel like you see the pattern in the universe. The pattern is a combination of Murphys Law, KITN, and Elite 8’s. It ebbs and flows. Waxes and wanes. Too much Yin and you can just rough ridin' feel the Yang, not just due but owed to you, and you know that such things are usually delivered to you at the unlikely self ball tazing of others, just as we have delivered when we self tase our nuts, radically play down to our opponent, and hand a less deserving team a gift of a win when we had not right to do so.
