NIT-ology is out!

Love this site.   :excited:

Love it more since we don't have to follow it.

Tech, OK St, and OU are in the mix right now.

If you think we aren’t losing out the rest of the season you are indeed bullish on this hoops squad

We will beat WVU and Cinci. I wouldn’t be shocked if we took one from KU or BYU too.

16 teams host the first round, top 4 seed each section of the bracket

But for real are we really going to make the NIT if we finish the regular season at 16-15?

without the NIT, we don’t see Ski go for 62.

any opportunity to get the young guys more games in is good with me.  this isn’t jacob pullen’s senior year type team.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Tang AND Tylor Perry have won an NIT. Might as well just print the memorabilia now.

If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.

Still melting down?

How should I be feeling about a team that -  best case scenario - finishes the season at 3-10? And where does one draw the line between melting down and just calling things what they are?

probably 4-9, though.  We will beat either KU or BYU.

Honestly nothing would surprise me with this team. Our 3 best players are all streaky 3 point shooters and we are due for a few games where everything goes in.  We could also very easily lose the rest of our games.

You really think KSU will beat KU in Allen, especially after KU lost in Bramlage? There's always a chance, I guess.

I think Selfs seat might get a little warm if he got swept by an NIT bound KSU team

When you spend near eternity with a non dominant product, you start to feel like you see the pattern in the universe. The pattern is a combination of Murphys Law, KITN, and Elite 8’s.  It ebbs and flows. Waxes and wanes. Too much Yin and you can just rough ridin' feel the Yang, not just due but owed to you, and you know that such things are usually delivered to you at the unlikely self ball tazing of others, just as we have delivered when we self tase our nuts, radically play down to our opponent, and hand a less deserving team a gift of a win when we had not right to do so.

It’s a wild life outside the constant bright light.

We better.  that would mean in our last 5 games we would have beat two top 10 teams and another top 25 team(at the time of playing them) with BYU, KU, and ISU.  If we are 20-11 with that trajectory, in the hardest conf in America, that should definitely slip a team in.

Of course we would. The odds of that happening, however...

2-1 with a big 12 tourney win would make it interesting.
