Uncivil is excellent. http://uncivil.show/

I’m not super into Civil war stuff, but I love the idea of podcasts like this.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Started listening to history on fire, it's pretty good. The dude is obsessed with dan carlin and does a similar show with long form history stories. He's also Italian with a sexy accent.

I was disappointed compared to Up and Vanished, beyond the obvious resolution there.   AM just seems scattershot and unfinished.

Dirty John was decent.   Really needing something new.   I've tried a few and been underwhelmed (Thinking Sideways, My Favorite murder, Black hands)

Saw my old post and gave it a shot. Only episode in but not my cup of tea so far. It has the feel of “well this is what I heard.”

Interesting. I think it has a unique perspective and they bring up some good points. And aren't a lot of podcasts based on "this is what I heard"?

They are for sure. I just tend to skip those. I appreciate alternative perspectives but I don’t like feeling like I’m listening to a rumor. Probably the only opinion show I listen to (if you could call it that) is NPR Politics.

I really like Science VS because regardless of the topic it is presented in a way that gives me confidence they’re presenting objective facts for the most part.

Other ones I like along those lines are Hardcore History (obvs and discussed already ITT plenty) and In Our Time (BBC show typically with Oxford and Cambridge profs summarizing different topics—which are mostly super boring but it’s great when you find a good one).

Also, Wonderful, which is one of the guys from MBMBAM and his wife talking about stuff that they dig.

I like this one for the most part. One of three comedy podcasts I subscribe to, but Hollywood Handbook is significantly funnier I'd say.

Yeah, the PFT and Zouks combo is probably the best I'd seen. Imagine if Andy Daly was the third!!!

You should check out Threedom.  If you like Hollywood Handbook (which I can't really get into) you might like Doughboys.

Or Paul Rust or Neil Campbell.  There are probably 8 or so recurring guests that are appointment listening for me.  I get most excited when I see Neil Campbell on there.  His characters have such a high batting average for me.

I really like threedom.  I got Stitcher premium specifically to listen to it.  Now it's out from beeHIiiInnD the paAaaAywaaAAaaAll

Damn. Have you listened to the Joe Mande episodes (especially the most recent one)?

FWIW, HH didn't grab me by the balls either, despite Stevesie's best efforts.

I prefer Hollywood FACTS, bro.

I listen to any rogan podcast that isn't a comedian or fight companion and it's rarely disappointing.

Went through the past few pages and saw this and had a hearty chuckle because that is exactly what I do with JR Experience. Best buds?
