Good job summarizing our prospective season.  My take away is Hill is not that concerned about his retention   :surprised:

09, thanks.  While my opinion is we totally suck I will tell you I appreciate the analysis.

I would like to ask you, what is wrong with Hill that has made his recruiting the worst in America?  Is he stupid?  Mean?  Does he stink crazy bad?

I disagree that his job is safe because you don't usually let a guy twist with one year left.  If he finishes dead last 5 years after a title then he is gone AF because we can take our chances on literally anyone else.

I never said Hill's job is safe in fact I said how important it was for him to win games this season. I never said that we were going to win a ton of games this year. IDK what you believe in his recruiting rankings but K-State's recruiting is in similarly line in of that of Kansas, northern schools are at a natural disadvantage and it is difficult for them to compete in a Texas based league. Fan support has never been terrific as well.  The real problem is that we had a mass exitus from the classes of 2014 and 2015, in programs such as Kansas State you have to rely on upperclassman to compete, another problem is that kids these days want immediate playing time and if they don't get it they will leave. JUCO baseball is not as taboo JUCO Football or Basketball and many kids took off. Their is not a single kid on the team from the class of 2014 and only two from the class of 2015.

Being as bad as he has been even while the paint was drying on Titletown tells me his recruiting is pretty nap

Baseball recruiting is a different demon than other sports because of the MLB draft. I don't believe that you can make an assumption about the recruiting solely based on our record. Did you know Willie Calhoun, who will be the starting second baseman for the Texas Rangers this years was signed to be a Cat? We lost Jake Webb last season, Cole Duensing the season before, signed Gunner Halter in 2016 but he exited so he could become eligible for the draft earlier. Kasey Ford was a top 300 recruit in the nation. Recruiting hasn't been our issue it has been retention.

Doesn't every other program play with the same rules?

Yes they do. I see youre not going to let this go. You asked me my opinion and I gave it, there is a lot of things that go into success of a program. If recruiting was the only thing that mattered LHC LHC Bill Snyder shouldve been fired a long time ago. Im not making excuses, im not advocating to save Brads job or to fire him. I said I believed that the lack of retention in the 2014 and 2015 class who would be juniors and seniors this season was a large reason for our recent struggles and I stick by that.

For those of you that cant make it to games in Manhattan you should have plenty of chances to catch the cats by online streaming.

Not many good things said about Hill in another forum.  Seems at times he’s not at practice often, has weird rules on conditioning.  Just a real sinking ship feel.

If you're gonna take a pic w/ 3 jerseys above and 2 jerseys below, at least space the below jerseys out evenly. Looks awkward. Maybe it's just my OCD.

Need an all lavender fauxback uni similar to OSU's.

There's also the Royals baby blues, of course.
